During participation in the Desimpedidos channel, Uruguayan Arrascaeta has once again commented on an old dream: to play alongside Brazilian star Neymar. The player from Mais Querido highlighted the forward's talent and said he would love to share the field with him, although in a relaxed tone he joked about the possibility of losing space in the team. The statement comes amid new speculation about Neymar's career, whose future is still not defined.
He's a very different guy..."
— Of course (about wanting to play with Neymar). He's a very different guy . We know that when he's in good physical shape, he can do it. Of course, I always like to play with the best. I hope he can play with us here. I don't need to invite him, otherwise he'll take my place. We can alternate the two a little bit there —, said Arrascaeta in a relaxed tone.
This was not the first time that the number 14 commented on the star. In a previous interview with the Lance! channel, Arrascaeta had already mentioned Neymar as one of the players he would like to play with today , along with retired idols like Ronaldinho. At the time, he mentioned that he hoped to reach an agreement with the striker, who preferred to return to Santos. The statement reinforces the Uruguayan's respect and admiration for the talent of the number 10 of the National Team.
Neymar is currently recovering from an injury and his contract with Santos is nearing the end of its term. Despite the growing number of fans on social media calling for the forward to join the Rio de Janeiro club, reports indicate that there are no official negotiations underway on the part of the board. Mengão 's priority at the moment remains focused on the ongoing competitions.
Neymar's relationship with the red-and-black fans is not new. The player has been seen wearing the club's shirt in relaxed moments and enthusiastically watched the 2019 Libertadores final, when he celebrated Gabigol's goals. In previous interviews, the striker stated: " I've always said this. Flamengo is my second favorite team, the first is Santos ", showing affection for the Rio de Janeiro club.
Defender revealed in Mais Querido is enjoying a great phase in Europe, arrives at the National Team under Carlo Ancelotti and attracts interest from international clubs

Alexsandro Ribeiro is one of the new additions to the Brazilian national team called up by Carlo Ancelotti. The 26-year-old defender, a Flamengo youth product, made his debut in June and started in his first two matches with the national team.
Currently playing for Lille in France, the defender is enjoying one of the best moments of his career, after facing difficulties at the beginning of his professional career. In an exclusive interview with 365Scores, held at Granja Comary in Teresópolis, Alexsandro revealed that he almost gave up football after leaving Flamengo as a teenager.
" I played for Flamengo, and when the decision to leave came, I never imagined it would be so difficult for a 16- or 17-year-old. It was the hardest time of my life, spending a year and a half without a club, going through tryouts and trials. Many times, I returned to Rio with an empty suitcase, without hope, wanting to stop playing ," the player said.
In addition to reaching the round of 16 of the 2024/25 Champions League , the defender was also the target of a bid from Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr in the last transfer window. The deal, however, fell through due to a decision by Lille's board, which opted to keep him on the squad.
" The only offer I received was from Al-Nassr, but the president wouldn't let me go and said he needed me for this year . I spoke to him and made it clear that I didn't want to leave, but I also didn't want to stay; it would depend on him. I wasn't going to fight him because I'm grateful to him and for the opportunity he gave me. It was calm, so to speak, because we know that Saudi Arabia is a very tempting offer," Alexsandro stated.
The striker arrived at the team with high expectations, but has been getting few opportunities on the field and intends to define his next steps only in 2026.

Seeking space in attack, Gabigol, formerly of Flamengo , is experiencing a moment of frustration at Cruzeiro. The number 9 has received few opportunities since joining the Minas Gerais team , accumulating limited minutes under coach Leonardo Jardim.
Despite his dissatisfaction, the striker has no plans to leave Toca da Raposa at this time. According to information released by Bolavip, the player intends to stay until the end of the season , when he will reassess his future in Brazilian football.
Gabigol 's arrival at Cruzeiro generated significant attention, particularly due to his winning record at the club, where he established himself as an idol and multiple champion. Expectations were high that the striker would become a key player in the Cruzeiro squad.
However, the reality has been different. Despite his impressive performance at Mineirão and being among the highest-paid players in the group , the striker hasn't earned a starting spot and has been used only as an option on the bench.
While Gabigol seeks to establish himself at Cruzeiro, Flamengo continues its preparation for the rest of the season. After the break for the FIFA Date, the technical committee led by Filipe Luís works behind the scenes aiming at the match against Juventude , next Sunday (14), at 4 pm, at the Alfredo Jaconi stadium, for the Brazilian Championship.
Even without a contract after leaving Al-Duhail, the 32-year-old Moroccan striker was offered to Mais Querido, but did not excite the red-black leadership

Even with the transfer window closed, players without contracts can be signed by any team . It was in this scenario that Hakim Ziyech , the Moroccan striker formerly of Chelsea, was offered to Flamengo .
Despite his agents' efforts to find a new destination, the board showed no interest in signing him. At 32, Ziyech no longer displays the same intensity he had when he excelled as a speedy and creative winger.
The player's recent career includes stints at Chelsea, between 2020 and 2023, and Galatasaray. In 2025, he played for Al-Duhail in Qatar, but left the club after just six months on his contract . During that time, he played 13 matches, scored one goal, and participated in campaigns in which the team finished runner-up in the Qatar Cup and reached the quarterfinals of the Emir Cup.
According to information gathered by the Gazeta do Urubu portal , Mais Querido has no plans to move forward with negotiations at this time . The board is reportedly satisfied with the squad assembled for the end of 2025 and there are still no projections for 2026.
Hakim Ziyech began his professional career in 2012 with Heerenveen in the Netherlands . He later played for Twente and gained worldwide recognition with Ajax, where he established himself as one of the team's biggest names. His performances led him to Chelsea in 2020, and later to stints with Galatasaray and Al-Duhail.
