Flamengo takes to the field this Wednesday (03), against Atlético-MG, at Arena MRV, in Belo Horizonte. In the Brazilian Championship, the two teams are going through different moments in the classification and playing at home and away in the competition.

After the end of the 13th round of the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo is the second best visitor in the tournament. In seven games played in the competition, there were three wins, three draws and one defeat. The red and black team is only behind Palmeiras in this regard, with one point less.

On the other hand, Atlético-MG has a campaign below expectations playing at Arena MRV. This is because, in the six games played at home, the Minas Gerais team only managed one victory. Furthermore, they drew four times and lost once. With seven points, they are the fifth worst home team, ahead of only Atlético-GO, Criciúma, Fluminense and Cuiabá.

FLAMENGO SITUATION

Flamengo remains leader of the Brazilian championship. After defeating Cruzeiro last Sunday (30), the red-black team reached 27 points and remains at the top of the standings. For the clash against Atlético-MG, coach Tite will be without six athletes: Matías Viña, Varela, Nicolás de la Cruz and Arrascaeta are with the Uruguay team. Everton Cebolinha is in the medical department, while Gabigol is away.

With an eye on maintaining their lead, Flamengo takes to the field this Wednesday (03), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), against Atlético -MG, at Arena MRV, in Belo Horizonte, in a game valid for the 14th round of the Brazilian Championship.
