The Flamengo tried to sign Alex Telles, left-back, before his termination with Al-Nassr. However, the rush to reinforce the position made the red-and-black club change its plans and move towards Alex Sandro. This quick movement ended up opening space for Botafogo, who knew how to take advantage of the moment and signed Alex Telles.

Negotiations with Telles began days before his termination was made official. Flamengo's intention was to secure a quality player for the left-back, a position that has generated concern due to the lack of reliable options. However, the process proved to be slower than expected, and the Rio club, eager to close the deal and not run the risk of losing a big name, chose to speed up negotiations with Alex Sandro, who was available and also is a renowned player in world football.

NEGOTIATION ALMOST OCCURRED

This change of focus was mainly due to the fear of being left without any of the options desired. O Flamengo needed a full-back with international experience and the ability to perform at a high level, especially in important competitions such as the Brazilian Championship and Copa Libertadores. Alex Sandro, with spells at major European clubs and the Brazilian national team, was seen as an immediate solution to the shortage at left-back. The player, who was coming off a solid season at Juventus, was seen as an opportunity that could not be missed.

While Flamengo concentrated its efforts on signing Alex Sandro, Botafogo monitored Alex Telles' situation closely. With the termination made official, the black and white club acted quickly to guarantee the signing of the full-back. The transfer was considered strategic, as Telles is a player with offensive characteristics and internal experience.

Flamengo has once again been approached by European clubs interested in one of its most talked-about prospects: midfielder Lorran. According to journalist Venê Casagrande, Pisa, recently promoted to the Italian football elite, made a loan offer for the player, but the terms of the negotiation did not please the red-black board, which chose to reject the proposal.

With the decision, the club kept Lorran in the under-20 squad , where he competes in the Brazilian Championship in the category. Despite being away from the main squad, the youngster continues to stand out with good performances and technical moves in training, which continues to arouse the interest of teams outside the country.

PISA RETURNS TO ITALIAN SERIES A AFTER 34 YEARS

Pisa is experiencing a historic moment after securing promotion to Italy's Serie A for the first time in 34 years. Led by Filippo Inzaghi, the team is looking for reinforcements and identified Lorran as an opportunity for young talent to join the squad. However, despite their rising European profile, the deal was not successful.

Other European clubs, such as Lille from France, are also showing interest in the midfielder. Information from the portal “RTI Esportes” reveals that the French club met with José Boto , an executive with a history in European football, to evaluate the viability of a proposal of €15 million (approximately R$96.7 million).

NEGOTIATIONS WITH RUSSIA CLUBS

This is not the first time that Lorran's future has been discussed. Earlier this year, the player was very close to a transfer to CSKA in Russia , but the deal was cancelled in the final moments. The Rio de Janeiro club's board also sought a possible loan transfer to Estoril in Portugal, without success.

Victor Hugo recently returned to the club after a loan spell at Goztepe in Turkey. The contract with the Turkish club included a buyout clause set at 8 million euros (approximately R$51 million) , but the European team chose not to exercise the option. Without a place in the squad led by Filipe Luís, the player is not part of the plans for the rest of the season.

Initially, Famalicão discussed the possibility of a new loan , but the talks evolved into a permanent transfer, considered the most advantageous solution by Flamengo 's football department.

PASSING TURKEY

During his time at Goztepe, Victor Hugo made 35 appearances, starting 12 of them, and scored three goals. He was involved in the team's eighth-place finish in the national league and also in the team's run to the semi-finals of the Turkish Cup, ending his spell with a stoppage-time goal against Kasimpasa on May 30.
