Flamengo continues preparations for the duel against Juventude , next Sunday (14), in Caxias do Sul, for the 23rd round of the Brasileirão. In training, coach Filipe Luís has rotated the squad and given space to young people from Ninho do Urubu, among them Ryan Roberto , an attacking midfielder of just 17 years old, considered one of the main jewels of the red-black base.
In the activity this Monday (8), held at CT Ninho do Urubu, Ryan trained with the professionals, participating in the technical and tactical work led by the coach. This was the first time that the jewel joined coach Filipe Luís' team .
Filipe Luís isn't new to including young players in the first team's activities. Before taking over the senior team, he worked with Flamengo 's under-17 and under-20 teams, winning important titles such as the Rio Under-17 Cup and the 2024 Under-20 World Cup , which he won against Olympiacos at the Maracanã stadium. Corinthians officially renewed the contract of defender Gustavo Henrique , formerly of Flamengo, on Monday (08). The contract, which was due to end at the end of this year, now runs until December 31, 2027, guaranteeing at least two more seasons at the club.
