Ludmilla's performance, one of the most anticipated attractions this Friday (13th) at Rock in Rio, is surrounded by controversy. The festival team vetoed part of the megastructure of sets that the singer had planned for her show at Palco Mundo, and Ludmilla was only informed of the decision on the day of the event. The information was initially released by journalist Leo Dias and confirmed by other sources.

In light of the festival organization's decision, Ludmilla is considering not performing at the event. The singer is very disappointed with the veto and fears that the performance, thought out so carefully, will be harmed. The artist and her team claim that the lack of scenographic structure compromises the quality of the show she created for her fans.

TECHNICAL PROBLEMS AND SCENOGRAPHY VETO

Ludmilla's team confirmed that Rock in Rio blocked the installation of part of the stage structure, which prevented the inclusion of all the scenographic elements planned for the show. According to information, Ludmilla had prepared three different moments for the performance, which even included costume changes that would represent the sun, the eclipse and the moon. These symbolic elements would reflect the intensity, sensitivity and complexity of the singer as an artist and person.

FESTIVAL TEAM DID NOT MANIFEST

To date, the Rock in Rio organization has not officially commented on the reason for the embargo. Meanwhile, Ludmilla's presence at the event remains uncertain. The singer had planned a show with 32 people on stage, including musicians, technicians and 16 dancers, to create a grand and engaging presentation.

This past Tuesday (17), singer Luísa Sonza celebrated the nomination of the song "Chico", made in honor of Chico Moedas, her ex-boyfriend, for the award for Best Song in the Portuguese Language at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards. The artist, who was betrayed by the influencer shortly after the release of the song, responded to a fan's comment about "making music for others".

"That Chico will never be forgotten", said an internet user in the page's comments by the artist, who also received the nomination for Best Contemporary Pop Album in the Portuguese Language with Escândalo Íntimo. "Mercy. I love Luísa, but don't make music for any man anymore, no. They don't deserve you", wrote another.

"Do you still think that songs are made for other people? I'm the one nominated for a Grammy me and nothing anyone says or does will take away the pride I have in having made this song! I genuinely love it and I believe this is one of, if not the best song I've ever made", replied Luísa Sonza.

The singer also added: "As I've said since 'Penhasco', I can't stop writing and blocking the creativity of the moment by someone else, or not releasing it because of a third party, the song in the end will always be about me and my feelings, and I swear that I think this is my greatest asset and is one of the reasons for so much success, I am visceral."

Last Saturday, Chico Moedas enjoyed the shows at Rock in Rio and denied the possibility of checking out Luísa's performance, with whom he had a relationship in 2023, who will open the Palco Mundo on the last day of the event: "That's crazy. I wouldn't see it, I think it's unnecessary, there's no reason", he replied.

On September 13th, singer Ludmilla, also known as the current Queen of Favela, performed her first show at Palco Mundo, in Cidade do Rock. After her last participation in Rock in Rio 2022, where she drew crowds on the Sunset Stage, the artist from Duque de Caxias, one of the greatest singers in Brazil and the most listened to black singer in Latin America, performed the long-awaited show on the festival's main stage , which celebrates 40 years of history.

Despite a possible cancellation due to the structure it had planned, Ludmilla took to Palco Mundo with great hits such as “É Bom”, “Fala Mal de Mim” and “Mina de Fé”. After the performance, the artist vented, stating that not everything went as planned, but that she had fun feeling the emotion of stepping on the main stage of Brazil's biggest musical event for the first time.

“I waited a long time . Of the singers of our generation, I think I was the last to step on stage. No matter how many circumstances occurred, in the end, it was all worth it. It was a dream come true”, said Ludmilla at a press conference. The opening of the much-awaited show, both by the singer and the public, was with one of her songs in an outburst tone: “They want to take me down, they plan my end just to see me bleed. Truths are seen, lies become airborne. It gives a lot of hype to say my name, they invent wars, they invent clones, but they hide behind telephones. If I take a vacation, they go hungry. But let me tell you about that day when they tried to boycott me during the national anthem, the agreement was playback, I had smoked a few joints. They do everything to say bad things. But I also know that evil cannot be repaid with evil, I answer by working. I am international. Ref from a lot of people. Mom, I won a Grammy. Today I can say, may time close, I know that nothing will stop me. Because my faith comes from there, I never walk alone.”
