O Flamengo divulgou nesta sexta-feira (12) uma nota oficial onde saudou a decisão da maioria das equipes da Série A que, durante o Conselho Técnico realizado em na última quinta-feira (11), optaram pela suspensão imediata da homologação de novos gramados sintéticos no campeonato.
A medida é vista internamente como um avanço para a qualidade do espetáculo e para a saúde dos atletas. Além disso, a decisão reforça o apoio à criação de um Padrão de Qualidade de Gramados Naturais inspirado em modelos internacionais. A definição desse padrão ficará a cargo de um Grupo de Trabalho da CBF.
Na última segunda-feira, o Mengão protocolou junto à entidade um documento técnico com análises e sugestões. O material defende o fim dos gramados artificiais na elite do futebol brasileiro, a implementação de critérios rígidos para campos naturais e uma transição segura e gradual.
