Flamengo e Corinthians se enfrentam neste domingo (1º), às 16h (horário de Brasília), na Arena BRB Mané Garrincha, em Brasília, pela decisão da Supercopa do Brasil. O confronto reúne os campeões do Campeonato Brasileiro e da Copa do Brasil e marca um reencontro histórico entre as equipes na competição, que já se enfrentaram na edição de 1991.
O técnico Filipe Luís deve priorizar a condição física dos atletas para definir a equipe titular. Arrascaeta e Jorginho, que são titulares absolutos, tendem a iniciar a partida no banco de reservas, assim como Lucas Paquetá, recém-chegado.

Embora o confronto aconteça em campo neutro, o histórico recente aponta um ambiente mais familiar para o Rubro-Negro.
Nos últimos anos, o Flamengo construiu uma relação frequente com Brasília. O estádio passou a receber partidas importantes da equipe, criando um cenário conhecido e recorrente, o que ajuda a explicar por que o Mané Garrincha costuma representar vantagem rubro-negra.
Os dados reforçam essa leitura. Em 74 partidas disputadas no Mané Garrincha, o Flamengo soma 41 vitórias, 24 empates e apenas nove derrotas, com aproveitamento de 66%.
