The actor bought a fraction of the venture for R$ 127,597.55, in 2015, but withdrew from the business some time later under the allegation that Brazil was facing an economic crisis. The fight in court, which began in 2016, appears to be far from reaching an outcome.
In 2019, the TJ-RJ ordered the return of part of the money paid by the artist. "I consider the requests contained in the initial statement to be partially valid, to decree the termination of the contract signed between the parties and order the defendants, jointly and severally, to return 75% of the total amount paid, monetarily adjusted, from each disbursement and with interest of 1 % per month from the final judgment of the sentence."
According to the Court of Justice, the artist's defense claims that R$10,000 was paid as a deposit, R$26,740.00 in seven installments, R$ 10,757.55 through an intermediate quota and R$ 80,100.00 through bank financing — in addition to R$ 6,613.72 as a commission from the broker responsible for the transition.
Given the impossibility of pay the installments, however, Kayky notified the entrepreneur of his interest in terminating the contract. The hotel, according to the actor's defense, had refused to return the amounts paid, presenting a proposal for a refund of less than 80%.
"The contract provides for the possibility of cancellation at a rate of 25%. It should be noted that the aforementioned clause does not outline the criteria adopted for liberality, in a way that it appears ambiguous, not clearly presenting the hypotheses in which the cancellation would be accepted, leaving such a decision to the mere convenience of the sellers, which is obviously contrary to the equality and contractual good faith of the parties", he explained.
Some online seizure attempts have been made since then, but without success. In June this year, judge Flavia de Almeida Viveiros de Castro ordered the seizure in the "stubborn" modality — which allows successive attempts to automatically block the debtor's accounts.

Globo has forwarded an agreement with actress Bella Campos for her to be part of the cast of the remake of "Vale Tudo", scheduled to air in April 2025 in the network's prime time. In the plot, she will be Maria de Fátima, daughter of Raquel, who in the new version will be played by Taís Araújo.
