Two giants of European football will face off this Tuesday (1st), at 4pm (Brasília time), in the round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup . At the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami (USA), Real Madrid, with Mengão's Vini Jr. , and Juventus will face off for a spot in the quarterfinals. The winner will face the winner of the duel between Borussia Dortmund and Monterrey, which will also take place this Tuesday, at 10pm. Flamengo has already been eliminated from the competition. The match will be broadcast by Globo, SporTV, DAZN and CazéTV.
BALANCED RETROSPECT AND CURRENT SCENARIO
In official matches, Real Madrid and Juventus have faced each other 21 times, with the Spanish team slightly ahead : ten wins against nine for the Italians, in addition to two draws. Real Madrid have scored 29 goals; Juve, 25. Flamengo officially renewed Guillermo Varela's contract until December 2027 this Friday (15), as previously reported by Gazeta do Urubu. . The signing took place at Ninho do Urubu, with the presence of the football technical director, José Boto.
An important player for Filipe Luís in 2025, Varela has played 35 games this season, starting 21 of them, scoring one goal and providing three assists. His versatility, also playing as a left-back and defensive midfielder, reinforces his value to the coaching staff.
