The survey was conducted based on the 2024 financial statements . However, it excludes Botafogo and Mirassol, which have not yet submitted their accounts. In other words, the percentage for the big three should be slightly lower. In total, the clubs in the Brazilian Série A totaled R$9.8 billion in revenue. There was a 17% increase compared to last year . This increase is mainly due to new sponsorship contracts with Bets and player sales.
Palmeiras, for example, reached a historic record in revenue from player transfers: R$442 million. This is the main reason for having obtained revenue of R$1.274 billion, a value considerably higher than the R$1 billion of the previous year (gross values are considered here).
Corinthians saw an increase of more than R$200 million in revenue . The number jumped from R$904.6 million to R$1.115 billion. The club sold more than R$200 million in players , in addition to signing - and breaking and replacing - sponsorships from turbocharged betting houses.
The Rio de Janeiro club saw a drop in its 2024 revenue compared to the previous year due to weaker player sales . Even so, it remained the leader of the ranking with R$1.334 billion. The amount is around R$100 million lower than in 2023.
There is one necessary caveat: the club changed its accounting criteria and began including Maracanã revenues in its balance sheet. This explains the increase in the value over the two years. The measure makes sense, since the stadium is managed by a company that has Flamengo and Fluminense as partners.
The survey shows a concentration of revenues in the teams with the largest fan base, with a large disparity compared to the others. São Paulo, which has a fan base similar to Palmeiras, has not yet managed to take advantage of this trend. It has the fourth largest revenue, with R$764 million.

Coach Filipe Luís will have some important news. Midfielder Jorge Carrascal , the latest signing in the transfer window, has already had his name published in the CBF's Daily Information Bulletin (BID) and will be included in the squad, with a good chance of making his debut with the Sacred Mantle.

After serving a suspension in the victory over Vasco, left-back Reinaldo returns to the team, taking Felipe Jonatan's place . Leão's top scorer in the Brasileirão, the number 6 has seven goals in the competition and is the team's official penalty taker.
Mirassol's likely lineup is : Walter; Lucas Ramon, João Victor, Jemmes and Reinaldo; Neto Moura, Danielzinho and Gabriel; Negueba, Edson Carioca and Chico da Costa.
