This is because, Mais Querido won the bid at the auction for the Gasologista land and acquired the site for the construction of its newest stadium. Thus, the vice-president of Rubro-Negro, Marcos Braz, spoke about the great moment experienced by the club.

"President Rodolfo Landim's most important title was this one, today. It's a dream that It will be accomplished. There is a feeling of accomplishment. There are four months left until the end of the Rodolfo Landim administration and we will leave Flamengo even better than we found it. Now we have to approve everything in the City Council. NEXT STEPS

Now, Mais Querido will have up to five days to be able to deposit the amount of R$ 138 million to the City of Rio de Janeiro so that the Gasometer land definitely belongs to the club. From then on, a period of 18 months begins for Rubro-negro to present the executive project for the construction of the stadium.

The auction notice provides that, after the presentation of the executive project and obtaining of the necessary licenses, the work will be completed in 36 months, which allows us to estimate that the stadium will be inaugurated in 2029. The new VP of heritage, Marcos Bodin, announced that the inauguration could be on November 15, 2029, when the club completes 134 years.
