Flamengo fan, Jorge Aragãocreated a new career milestone this past Saturday (9) in Salvador, Bahia . The singer took the stage at the Afropunk festival and took the audience on a sensorial journey throughout his career spanning more than 50 years.
Before performing at the event, Jorge Aragão was honored by Flamengo, with a commemorative shirt that bears the lyrics of his song Identidade: "It's a moment of reaffirmation. But for It has a completely different meaning for me. November marks one year since I finished my chemotherapy. That’s a lot,” said the singer in an interview with Quem magazine.
Jorge Aragão was diagnosed in 2023 with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which is a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system: “I'm very aware of everything that happened Mainly looking for what is most difficult for me today, which is understanding how, especially trying to understand how this author of mine achieved this visibility.
