At 35 years old, Wesley Safadão announced a break in his career on September 3rd."We inform you that singer Wesley Safadão will take a break from his show schedule for an indefinite period of time. The artist has had health problems and will have to step away from the stage on medical advice", said the statement. This Sunday (10), the singer revealed that he was suffering from anxiety, and delved deeper into the topic by revealing details about his first consultations and some crises.

“I’m exhausted. That's the word, like, mentally exhausted. I didn't know the right time to dose, to slow down. (...) It's like I can't say no,” he told 'Fantástico'. “It's been so many years, right? It's been more than 20 years in this footprint. (...) I didn't want to believe that I was having an anxiety attack. So, I was a ticking time bomb that was getting easily stressed over little things", he revealed.

"The first appointment I had with the psychologist , she said: 'let's assume that you need to accept it. It's not the end of the world, you'll get better'", he revealed. "I believe I started having this in 2017. In 2018, it was the first time I went to the hospital. I started to feel sick, they put me in the car and took me to the hospital", said the singer.

In addition, the player commented on the advice received by the doctors he visited: "When I sought medical advice, help, the advice was to stop, reduce, or stop for a few days or so, but I had decided not to stop. So, when I couldn't sleep on the first day, on the second day I started to despair. So, I preferred to call it quits before the worst happened", he said.

The singer also opened up about the fears caused by anxiety: "Fear of getting sick, of losing control on stage. It's that fear. The fear of die... I'm taking medication that the psychiatrist prescribed, and I've been able to control it." To illustrate, the singer told of a case he participated in: “I was on my way to a show in Minas and I started to feel sick in the car. I started to feel short of breath, I wanted to breathe but I couldn't. ‘I want to go to the hospital, I think I’m dying’. I couldn't feel my fingers," he commented.

This past Tuesday (17), singer Luísa Sonza celebrated the nomination of the song "Chico", made in honor of Chico Moedas, her ex-boyfriend, for the award for Best Song in the Portuguese Language at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards. The artist, who was betrayed by the influencer shortly after the release of the song, responded to a fan's comment about "making music for others".

"That Chico will never be forgotten", said an internet user in the page's comments by the artist, who also received the nomination for Best Contemporary Pop Album in the Portuguese Language with Escândalo Íntimo. "Mercy. I love Luísa, but don't make music for any man anymore, no. They don't deserve you", wrote another.

"Do you still think that songs are made for other people? I'm the one nominated for a Grammy me and nothing anyone says or does will take away the pride I have in having made this song! I genuinely love it and I believe this is one of, if not the best song I've ever made", replied Luísa Sonza.

The singer also added: "As I've said since 'Penhasco', I can't stop writing and blocking the creativity of the moment by someone else, or not releasing it because of a third party, the song in the end will always be about me and my feelings, and I swear that I think this is my greatest asset and is one of the reasons for so much success, I am visceral."

Last Saturday, Chico Moedas enjoyed the shows at Rock in Rio and denied the possibility of checking out Luísa's performance, with whom he had a relationship in 2023, who will open the Palco Mundo on the last day of the event: "That's crazy. I wouldn't see it, I think it's unnecessary, there's no reason", he replied.
