Despite winning the Libertadores opener against Deportivo Táchira, Flamengo's performance was not convincing. The team created few opportunities and wasted clear chances, which led to criticism from sports analysts. Journalist Raí Monteiro highlighted the lack of urgency in the match, while Gian Oddi pointed out that the biggest problem was not the low offensive production, but rather the unnecessary risks taken by the team in the final minutes.
Oddi drew attention to the decisive moments of the match, emphasizing that CRF allowed the opponent to grow in the final minutes , instead of controlling the game with possession of the ball. For him, the technical quality of the team should have ensured a more secure control of the minimal advantage. “The game was not good, but not only because of what Flamengo failed to create.
