Botafogo starts selling visitor tickets for the derby against Flamengo this Tuesday (13th), at 12pm. Red and black fans can guarantee a place at Engenhão for next Sunday's game (18), which could put Mengão in the lead of the Brasileirão.

It is important to highlight that access to the stadium will be done exclusively through facial biometrics. Therefore, in addition to guaranteeing their ticket, red and black fans who have not yet done so are required to register on the website botafogo.bepass.com.br. The gates will open at 4:30 pm.
Exorbitant ticket prices for Botafogo x Flamengo outrage the Nation
The high ticket price for Flamengo fans caught attention, outraged the crowd -blacks and could become a legal problem. While Botafoguenses pay R$60 (full) and R$30 (half) in the North sector, the Nation will pay more than triple to be present in an equivalent sector.
In the first round, Flamengo charged R$ $80 (half R$40) for tickets for Botafogo fans who went to the South Sector of Maracanã, exactly the same price as the North Sector for red and black fans and is what determines the General Competition Regulations of the CBF (RGC).< /p>
The document states that the R$ 200 could only be charged in the South Sector if they were the same amount as in the North sector, which is not the case. Another alternative would be for it not to be an exclusive sector for red and black people, something that the Rio Military Police would never accept. Therefore, Flamengo has the right to complain and ask for an adjustment in the value.
The price of 200 reais is what Botafogo charges for its fans from the general public in the East and Lower West sectors, the closest to the field . The North and South sectors, on the other hand, are very far from the field due to the Engenhão athletics track and do not even have seats.
That is why the exorbitant prices generate revolt among the red and black people and can reduce the presence of the Nation in the match, which seems to be Botafogo's objective. This is because the maximum capacity of the visiting sector is 4,248 fans. In other words, even if you sell all the tickets at the full price, you will receive R$849.6 thousand, an amount that will be discounted and will not impact the club's finances.
The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.

Last Sunday, Flamengo was beaten by Botafogo, at the Nílton Santos stadium. At the press conference, Tite once again cited the Brazilian football calendar as one of the possible reasons for the red-black failure for the rival. In this sense, UOL journalist, Rodrigo Mattos, believes that Flamengo's coach owed some explanations regarding the team's performance.
The columnist participated, alongside journalist Bruno Braz, in Flamengo's live and highlighted:
"[The calendar] It's a factor, but he stuck to explaining the game by just one factor. He didn't explain the factors that were his fault, which is the case of the changes he did at the end of the break and that, tactically, made the game easier for Botafogo", said Mattos.
"He thought of something to keep scoring, having more people in the area. What happened. It's just that Botafogo arrived from the edge, played the ball underneath and not over the top. There's no point in having a bunch of defenders boxed in if the other team has a lot of space on the edges to cross for a shot. 19 shots on goal from Botafogo, nine of which went towards the goal. Rossi caught a lot of balls, penalties. So, I think he had to explain his mistakes as well", he added.
"At the time he was coach of the national team, he didn't say anything about the calendar, right? He's right in his criticisms, but that wasn't the only factor. There were other factors and his responsibilities. I think he doesn't talk much about these things. It's not exclusive to Tite. Every Brazilian coach doesn't like to talk about weaknesses and talks about other things that, sometimes, are right, as is the case with this calendar, but in general it diverts the focus from what their mistakes are."
Bruno Braz recalled the absences, but believes that Alvinegro's elastic score was influenced by the coach's choices. The journalist cited the change in midfield that made Artur Jorge's team gain even more ground in the classic.
