Flamengo is getting closer every day to taking the project off the ground dream of your own stadium. Therefore, the debate about the SAF grows every day. For president Rodolfo Landim, the achievement involves directly selling part of the club. However, the issue has become a target of concern in the corridors of Gávea.
If Landim is completely in favor of the project, the opposition and even allies are moving against it. Some see it as "zero chance" of passing, as the majority does not agree. Groups of advisors made an amendment proposal "to avoid legal uncertainty in the possible modification process" of Flamengo on this topic. They have already obtained more than 50 necessary signatures.
But what is already known about the subject? Why does Landim want the SAF?

What does the opposition say?
The proposal from March this year suggests that the Council Deliberative has the possibility of adapting the statute and creating stricter rules for the approval of a SAF, which would need to be voted on at the General Assembly, with qualified quorums for deliberation and voting for approval.
The document wants to include that Elected and appointed directors of the association who held positions in the club in the 36 months preceding the approval of the SAF and constitution are prevented from assuming any management or administrative positions in the new society for a period of six years.
Regarding quorums, the decision at the General Assembly would be approved by a decision of two thirds of the members present. However, a minimum presence of 60% of all members of the general assembly would be required.

O Flamengo avançou nas tratativas para contratar Lucas Paquetá, do West Ham, mas ainda enfrenta um obstáculo importante para concluir o acordo. O principal entrave está relacionado ao Fair Play Financeiro europeu, que influencia diretamente a forma de pagamento exigida pelo clube inglês. A informação é do jornalista Mauro Cezar Pereira.
O West Ham aceitou negociar o meia por cerca de 41,25 milhões de euros, porém tenta alterar a estrutura do pagamento. A exigência é por um valor mais elevado já na primeira parcela, cenário que não agrada à diretoria rubro-negra neste momento.
A cobrança por uma entrada maior ocorre porque, na América do Sul, não há um sistema de Fair Play Financeiro nos moldes do adotado na Europa. Com isso, instituições financeiras internacionais que antecipam valores aos clubes vendedores enxergam maior risco na operação e, consequentemente, cobram taxas mais altas para liberar os recursos ao West Ham.
Se o Flamengo estivesse inserido em um ambiente regulado por Fair Play Financeiro, a transação seria considerada mais segura pelos ingleses. Mesmo com finanças organizadas e histórico de pagamentos em dia, o fato de o clube ser brasileiro pesa negativamente na avaliação das instituições envolvidas.
Em um cenário de negociação com outro clube da Inglaterra, por exemplo, o West Ham teria maior garantia de recebimento integral do valor acordado. Isso porque os times da Premier League seguem regras rígidas de controle financeiro, o que reduz riscos e facilita a antecipação de pagamentos no mercado europeu.

A venda do atacante Wallace Yan ao Red Bull Bragantino foi freada por decisão direta de Luiz Eduardo Baptista, o Bap, presidente do Flamengo. O principal entrave está no modelo de pagamento apresentado pelo clube paulista, que não agradou à diretoria rubro-negra.
As partes chegaram a alinhar valores próximos de 10 milhões de euros pela transferência. No entanto, o Bragantino propôs desembolsar apenas 5 milhões ainda em 2026, deixando a outra metade para 2027. A estrutura do parcelamento gerou forte insatisfação internamente.

O Flamengo já entrou em campo na temporada 2026 em clássicos contra Vasco e Fluminense, mas ainda não contou com força máxima. A tendência, porém, é de cenário mais positivo na estreia pelo Campeonato Brasileiro, após a divulgação da lista de relacionados para o jogo diante do São Paulo.
Mesmo com o retorno de peças importantes como Arrascaeta, Jorginho e Ayrton Lucas, outros jogadores seguem ausentes.
