This last week the Flamengo released the first financial statement of 2024, for the months of January to March and with it, came the news that Rubro-Negro had a loss of R$63 million. However, there is nothing to worry about, as it is natural that there will be less revenue coming in due to the calendar.

According to information in the financial report released by Flamengo, the main sporting competitions of the professional team only take place at the end of the first quarter. Therefore, revenue generation is lower.

Flamengo's revenue, which was mentioned in the first quarterly balance sheet, is R$ 171, 7 million, with EBITIDA (Profit before Juris, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) of just R$ 8.6 million, a negative result, but one that the club already expected.

REVENUE REDUCTION

According to what was released by the club, Mais Querido showed a drop in revenue compared to the same period in 2023. The R$ 171.7 million generated in 2024 is opposed to the R$ 185 million presented in 2023.
