The Flamengo already has its first signing for the middle window of this year. This is Michael, who has already played for the club and now returns after two seasons at Al-Hilal. Next to be announced, the 'little robot' arrived free of charge, but will have high salaries in red and black; check it out below. How much will Michael cost Flamengo?

According to information from reporter Venê Casagrande, Michael will have a monthly cost of 1.5 million of reais, which include salary and gloves. Therefore, with a four-year contract, the attacker will have a total cost of at least 72 million reais.


Michael for Al-Hilal

Sold by Flamengo to Al-Hilal at the start of the 2022 season, Michael cost US$8.45 million (R$45.5 million at the time) to the Saudi coffers. Since arriving at the Arab club, the 'little robot' has played 104 matches, where he scored 20 goals and recorded 25 assists.


Michael has increased his production since Jorge Jesus arrived at the team, in 2023, and since then he has played 80 matches with the Saudi team's shirt, 68 as a starter. During this period, he had 32 goal contributions, with 16 goals scored and 16 assists recorded. Very offensive, the 'little robot' had 133 shots in the period, 63 of which were towards the goal.

Wearing the number 96 shirt, Michael has made 115 decisive passes for Al-Hilal since 2023, in addition to creating 32 great chances. Known for being a player who dribbles a lot, the striker had 163 successful dribbles during the period and also conceded eight penalties.

 Michael's first spell at Flamengo

A standout at Goiás in the 2019 Brazilian Championship, Michael arrived at Flamengo the following year, and stayed for two seasons. In total, the striker was on the field in 105 opportunities, scoring 23 goals and 12 assists. During this period, he also won six titles: one Brazilian, one Recopa Sudamericana, two Brazilian Super Cups and two state titles. Back to the field

After the defeat to Botafogo last Sunday (18), Flamengo turned the key and focused on preparing for the decision in the round of 16 of the Libertadores against Bolívar. With a 2-0 lead, Mais Querido heads to Bolivia on Wednesday (21), and on Thursday (22), they face the home team.

After the decisive clash in the international tournament, Flamengo returns to Brazil, where they have a duel at home for the Brasileirão. On Sunday (25), Mais Querido hosts Red Bull Bragantino in the twenty-fourth round of the national competition.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores. Follow the Red and Black lineup:Rossi, Varela, Fabrício Bruno, Léo Pereira and Alex Sandro; Pulgar, De la Cruz, Gerson and Arrascaeta; Plata and Bruno Henrique.

Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."
