Online betting games have been booming in Brazil, but they have become a huge headache for many people. Many Brazilians see platforms, created so that the bettor always loses money, as a way to earn big, which never happens. According to information from a report published by Piauí magazine, which showed behind the scenes of negotiations involving betting houses and famous people, one of the names that caught the most attention was by actor Cauã Reymond. The artist, who has almost 15 million followers on Instagram alone, earns a million dollar fee to lend his face to one of these bets.

According to the publication, Cauã has been hired as a poster boy for BeuBet since May 2024. In total, he earns around R$22 million per year with the commercial partnership. The actor was approached by the magazine, but did not want to comment.

CRITICISM OF CAUÃ REYMOND

On social media, many internet users criticized the Globo actor for publicizing the 'tigrinho game': “Cauã Reymond in this pataquada?! Because you don’t expect much from these others”, said an internet user on X, formerly Twitter. “I don’t follow Cauã, shocked that he promotes Bet”, another was surprised. “Advertising bet is a complete lack of love for others and consideration for one’s own followers”, said a third party.

DANGERS OF ONLINE GAMBLING
