The President of Flamengo, Rodolfo Landim, and the vice-general, Rodrigo Dunshee, released a joint note< /a> to celebrate the title of U20 World Cup that Flamengo won against Olympiacos, from Greece. In the publication, the leaders mentioned the 10 boys who were victims of the fire that occurred at Ninho do Urubu on February 8, 2019. The fans, however, did not swallow the leaders' words.

Several comments on social media they criticized the leaders for the way the managers handled the case of the 10 boys. Fans said it was an electoral strategy, as it is an election year in Flamengo and Rodrigo Dunshee is a supported presidential candidate by Rodolfo Landim. Journalist Mauro Cezar Pereira was one of those who criticized the managers. Check out some messages below:

@MauroCezar: Members of the current management of Flamengo, and the previous one, who could have been careful properly remove the premises that caught fire; and treat the families of the dead boys better, they should never mention the victims of the fire on 2/8/2019.

@Bruno2604: You guys are so brave, dedicating the title to our 10 boys and putting Dunshee in the signature. You could at least be a little less debauched. Disgusting with this shit board... p>

@tatyene_mendes: Dunshee signing something is stepping on the memory of our 10. You they are disgusting.

@tiagobotini: Dunshee and Landim should be SHAME to mention the 10 boys from Ninho after all the RIDICULOUS conduct of the case since 2019. But it's an election year, right? /gra_tuita/status/1827740031504498698" target="_blank">@gra_tuita: The only time I was ashamed of being Flamengo was after the club's stance in the face of the tragedy You are not worthy of even mentioning these boys That the weight of this dirt falls on you... and it will happen. Wait.

On February 8, 2018, a fire started in a container, used to house rooms for young people at Flamengo's base, due to a short circuit in an air conditioner. The fire spread and claimed 10 boys as victims: Athila Paixão, Arthur Vinicius, Pablo Henrique, Christian Esmério, Jorge Eduardo, Samuel Thomas, Gedinho, Bernardo Pisetta, Vítor Izaias and Rykelmo Viana. The red and black fans at Maracanã, every 10 minutes, sing, in honor of the young people.

The State Secretariat for Women presented to the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo actions to prevent and combat violence against women, which are part of the national program "Before It Happens". In a meeting this Monday morning (16) with President Rodolfo Landim and representatives of the board of directors of the Gávea club, the State Secretary for Women, Heloisa Aguiar, and the State's First Lady, Analine Castro, invited the Rubro-Negro signs to join the program.

-We are very happy because Flamengo has already accepted the invitation to join the "Before It Happens" program. The State Secretariat for Women is already doing a lot of work with the teams in Rio de Janeiro. It's much more than football. It's about the lives of the people around us - said the first lady of the State, Analine Castro.

The "Before It Happens" program is a national initiative to strengthen public policies aimed at protecting women. One of the objectives is to align technology and innovation in monitoring women who are victims of domestic and family violence. The Government of RJ was the first to join the program, in May this year.

- Flamengo already carries out some actions in defense of women, and the U-17 men's football team received one of our lectures from SerH, the Human Education and Responsibility Service, in August, in Ninho do Urubu. We want to strengthen this bond. With the signing of adherence to the "Before It Happens" program, actions in defense of women's rights will gain a great ally, amplifying the message against any type of gender-based violence. We are working to have all football teams united in this cause for the girls and women of the state of Rio - said the state secretary for Women, Heloisa Aguiar.

For Landim, uniting the actions already developed by the club in favor of women to the "Before It Happens" protocol is to add efforts to confront cases of violence:

- Let's complement the actions and reinforce our social role in this cause that is so important for all of society.

< b>Program combines technology and data

"Before It Happens" was prepared by federal deputy (PL-RJ) Soraya Santos and senator Daniella Ribeiro (PSD-PB), in an integrated action with the Court of Justice of RJ. The Federal Supreme Court (STF) and the National Council of Justice (CNJ) also signed the protocol of intentions to implement the program's actions. In the State of Rio, the program is coordinated by the State Secretariat for Women, with joint actions by the State Secretariats for Public Security, Health, Science and Technology, in addition to the Court of Justice (TJRJ).

- Joining the "Before It Happens" program intensified the integrated work carried out by our secretariats, other bodies and institutions. Furthermore, it reinforces the State Government's commitment to welcoming women - says Heloisa Aguiar.

As part of the "Before It Happens" program, the government inaugurated the Multiviolet Space in July at the State Hospital of the Woman Heloneida Studart, in São João de Meriti. The room is dedicated to welcoming women victims of violence, with a multidisciplinary care protocol and a humanized approach, which includes gynecologists, psychologists, social workers and nurses. The goal is for the initiative to reach 34 units in the state health network.

"Before It Happens" defined new care flows in health units for women victims of violence. The system includes data collection, consolidation and analysis, pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis for sexually transmitted diseases, such as HIV; emergency contraception, pediatric prophylaxis and viral hepatitis.

The program also includes the improvement of existing tools, such as the Rede Mulher app, which has a "panic button", in addition to other features.

Essential for child development, breast milk is considered by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the “golden food”, giving rise to Golden August, a month to encourage breastfeeding. Thus, to reinforce support for the campaign, Flamengo's Social Responsibility department took, last Tuesday (27), water polo athlete Duda Martins, who is 26 weeks pregnant, and the club's mascots to meet the Maria Amélia Buarque de Holanda Municipal Maternity, a reference in humanized care for pregnant women, in the center of Rio.

As part of the activity program, the athlete received guidance on the breastfeeding process and the importance of breast milk in child development and in building bonds together with other pregnant and postpartum women cared for by the maternity ward.

“Flamengo's presence here today is extremely important because all actions aimed at Agosto Dourado aim to support, promote and increasingly encourage breastfeeding. Encouraging breastfeeding on demand, increasing breastfeeding time allows society to understand the real benefit that human milk has for both babies and mothers”, said Carla Navarrete, coordinator of the Nutrition and Dietetics Service at the Maternity Hospital and president of the Unit's Breastfeeding Committee.

“Visiting the Maria Amélia maternity ward was an incredible experience, I could see that the maternity ward is really very intense. I answered questions, learned and prepared myself a little more, and had contact with other pregnant women. Each of us had different doubts and fears, which were fully welcomed by the team that welcomed us. It was a pleasure to be part of Flamengo's social responsibility action”, said athlete Duda Martins.

Production assistant Josiane Portugal, who is also pregnant and undergoes prenatal care at the maternity ward, added. “Today I learned that only breast milk is enough and no other milk is needed for the child to grow up healthy. I loved Flamengo's presence here today. I'm a Flamengo fan, my family is Flamengo fan and I was very happy to know that Flamengo supports breastfeeding”, she praised.

As part of the proposal to humanize motherhood, the athlete received a beautiful pregnancy painting, which allowed you to understand how your baby is positioned inside your belly.
