Things are hot in the red and black elections. This is because under the argument of “attempted fraud”, Wallim Vasconcellos's candidacy for the presidency of Flamengo fell. Last Monday (21), Wallim's candidacy was challenged , then, by the Permanent Electoral Commission (CPE). Thus, the reason is “attempted fraud using forged signatures from club members”, according to an analysis by the Electoral Commission.
“This is an attempted fraud that was identified, investigated and proven within the scope of the competence and investigations carried out by the Electoral Commission (…) In the case in question, the attempted electoral fraud took place through the delivery of forms to CPE with signatures that were not recognized by the partners themselves who would, in theory, be subscribers to the aforementioned documents”, therefore said the document.
— We signed an application, reiterating that we understood that our ticket should be approved, it should be registered. And we ask for the dismissal, the resignation of the president of the Board of Directors, the BAP, because he is the president of the Board of Directors, which is a body that analyzes and registers the slates. Vasco da Gama has made progress in negotiations and has finalized the signing of midfielder Matheus França, formerly of Flamengo . According to information released by Rádio Itatiaia, the Vasco da Gama club reached an agreement with Crystal Palace in England to loan the player until June 2026. The agreement does not include a buyout clause at the end of the contract.
