One of the greatest idols in Flamengo's history, Zico revealed the candidate he will support in the Rubro-Negro presidential elections: Luiz Eduado Baptista (Bap). Galinho recorded a video this Monday (2) to justify his support for the candidate. According to the Mais Querido idol, an event that occurred 14 years ago was fundamental in his choice.

" One of the words I have with me is gratitude. One of the people who made me have this gratitude is called BAP , who is now a candidate for president of Flamengo. During a difficult, complicated moment that happened to me in 2010 at Flamengo, he was always by my side and kept his word until the end. I always tell him this: gratitude is something that I take with me. with me, and I will always be grateful for you. Besides, of course, the competence, the seriousness, the professionalism, the real man who arrives and often says what you don't want to hear", began Zico.

"But what can, can. And what can't, can't. Since 2012, when he joined Flamengo, Flamengo is different. With his help, of course, with an important team, but he was important for Flamengo to be what it is today. That's why I'm with him. I have other friends in other candidates, but BAP is ahead. That's why I'm going to support him a lot and I'll be there for him to be elected president of Flamengo." , added Galinho.

FACT THAT ZICO TOOK INTO CONSIDERATION

At the time, in 2010, the then Mais Querido partner Leonardo Ribeiro stated that the contract concluded between Rubro-Negro and Centro de Futebol Zico would be harmful to the club's interests. According to Captain Léo, players who were from CFZ started to reach Flamengo's youth categories, gaining more space than those who were already at Ninho. The rights of these athletes were shared, leaving 50$ for the club.

Thus, due to the accusation, Zico filed a lawsuit against Leonardo Ribeiro. After Galinho's attitude, the former partner retreated and said he was misunderstood. It is worth remembering that in 2010, Mais Querido's idol was the club's football director and, according to the video, he had the support of BAP.

At the dojô, the children were welcomed by the coach of the under-13 and under-15 red-black judo teams, Rodrigo Domiciano, who, together with club athletes, shared his experiences and spoke about the importance of dedication to progress in the sport. “In the midst of so many negative references, it is essential that these children have positive references. For many, the day was a unique opportunity to become inspire, dream big and continue following the path of sport. “The children came very excited. Cantagalo resident Leda Maria Pereira de Macedo, mother of student Davi, added. “Children who live in communities need sports so they don't get lost and judo has already got my son back on track. The State Secretariat for Women presented to the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo actions to prevent and combat violence against women, which are part of the national program "Before It Happens". In a meeting this Monday morning (16) with President Rodolfo Landim and representatives of the board of directors of the Gávea club, the State Secretary for Women, Heloisa Aguiar, and the State's First Lady, Analine Castro, invited the Rubro-Negro signs to join the program.

-We are very happy because Flamengo has already accepted the invitation to join the "Before It Happens" program. The State Secretariat for Women is already doing a lot of work with the teams in Rio de Janeiro. It's much more than football. It's about the lives of the people around us - said the first lady of the State, Analine Castro.

The "Before It Happens" program is a national initiative to strengthen public policies aimed at protecting women. One of the objectives is to align technology and innovation in monitoring women who are victims of domestic and family violence. The Government of RJ was the first to join the program, in May this year.

- Flamengo already carries out some actions in defense of women, and the U-17 men's football team received one of our lectures from SerH, the Human Education and Responsibility Service, in August, in Ninho do Urubu. We want to strengthen this bond. With the signing of adherence to the "Before It Happens" program, actions in defense of women's rights will gain a great ally, amplifying the message against any type of gender-based violence. We are working to have all football teams united in this cause for the girls and women of the state of Rio - said the state secretary for Women, Heloisa Aguiar.

For Landim, uniting the actions already developed by the club in favor of women to the "Before It Happens" protocol is to add efforts to confront cases of violence:

- Let's complement the actions and reinforce our social role in this cause that is so important for all of society.

< b>Program combines technology and data

"Before It Happens" was prepared by federal deputy (PL-RJ) Soraya Santos and senator Daniella Ribeiro (PSD-PB), in an integrated action with the Court of Justice of RJ. The Federal Supreme Court (STF) and the National Council of Justice (CNJ) also signed the protocol of intentions to implement the program's actions. In the State of Rio, the program is coordinated by the State Secretariat for Women, with joint actions by the State Secretariats for Public Security, Health, Science and Technology, in addition to the Court of Justice (TJRJ).

- Joining the "Before It Happens" program intensified the integrated work carried out by our secretariats, other bodies and institutions. Furthermore, it reinforces the State Government's commitment to welcoming women - says Heloisa Aguiar.

As part of the "Before It Happens" program, the government inaugurated the Multiviolet Space in July at the State Hospital of the Woman Heloneida Studart, in São João de Meriti. The room is dedicated to welcoming women victims of violence, with a multidisciplinary care protocol and a humanized approach, which includes gynecologists, psychologists, social workers and nurses. The goal is for the initiative to reach 34 units in the state health network.

"Before It Happens" defined new care flows in health units for women victims of violence. The system includes data collection, consolidation and analysis, pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis for sexually transmitted diseases, such as HIV; emergency contraception, pediatric prophylaxis and viral hepatitis.

The program also includes the improvement of existing tools, such as the Rede Mulher app, which has a "panic button", in addition to other features.

One of Flamengo's presidential candidates, Luiz Eduardo Baptista, better known as BAP, announced that the club's possible new stadium should cost approximately R$2.5 billion. The project, which aims to build an arena in the Gasometer region, in the center of Rio de Janeiro, foresees a capacity for 70 thousand fans. The statement was given in an exclusive interview with Lance!, as part of a series with all the candidates for the red-black election, scheduled for December this year.

< b>COST AND LEGAL CHALLENGES

BAP, when estimating the value of R$ 2.5 billion for the construction, highlighted that the club will face legal challenges regarding the acquisition of the land, which belonged to a fund administered by Caixa Econômica Federal and was expropriated by Rio City Hall. He believes that there will be a legal imbroglio over the area, but he was confident in overcoming these obstacles.

“I estimate that a stadium of 70 thousand seats will cost around R$2.5 billion. I am absolutely sure that there will be a legal battle, because, in Brazil, this ends up being politically influenced as well. We hope that, with the team we have, we can overcome these challenges and find a solution that benefits all parties involved — Caixa, the Caixa fund, the City Hall, the State government, the fans and Flamengo”, stated the candidate .

OPPOSITION TO THE PURCHASE OF THE PORTUGUESE CLUB

Another point addressed by Luiz Eduardo Baptista was his opposition to the purchase of Leixões, a second division club in Portugal. The CRF is in negotiations to acquire the Portuguese team with the aim of strengthening the club's internationalization, but BAP was vehemently against the idea.

“Flamengo gains absolutely nothing from this. It's a waste of time and energy, a terrible idea for the moment the club is going through. If I am elected, at whatever stage this project is at, it will be immediately cancelled”, he declared.

The election to choose the club's new president will take place in December and will define who will lead Flamengo for the next three years. BAP is one of the strong names in the electoral race and seeks to implement a modernization project, focusing on the club's infrastructure and finances.
