Last week, Flamengo agreed to purchase land from Gasologista for the construction of its new stadium. Therefore, as a guarantee that it will comply with the requirements of the auction notice, Mais Querido mortgaged Ninho do Urubu. This means that if Rubro-Negro does not comply with the contract, the city hall can seek possession of the Training Center.

According to the notice, the "“mortgage constituted on a free and unencumbered property, with a value corresponding to that guaranteed” as one of the options “for the purpose of guaranteeing compliance with the obligations that justified the expropriation”.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE NOTICE

In addition to the payment in cash of the R$ 138,195,000 of the winning bid, the notice determines that the Mais Querido should present two guarantees. To cover the first, of around R$41 million estimated to pay any difference between the amount paid at the auction and what the Court determines to be fair for the land after Caixa's challenge, in addition to the costs of the process , Mais Querido presented a bank finance from BRB.

For the second, Rubro-Negro presented the mortgage for Ninho do Urubu. The Training Center is valued in Mais Querido's most recent balance sheet at around R$150 million, including the land and improvements. However, the club recently purchased a new land worth R% 5 million attached to the Ninho and has been carrying out new works.

The notice also determines that, in the event of guarantee requirements, “changes are permitted of the modality”. In other words, if you do not meet the requirement to carry out the work within four years and are charged by the city hall, Mais Querido will not necessarily lose Ninho do Urubu, being able to replace it with another type of payment.

Last week, children who practice judo in the social project Jogaremos Juntos, promoted by Flamengo's Social Responsibility, had an unforgettable experience. They visited the club's headquarters, in Gávea, and trained alongside Flamengo's judo teachers and athletes, experiencing a day full of learning, discipline and sportsmanship.

In total, 70 children, from centers of Cantagalo and Queimados, had the chance to practice judo under the guidance of high-level professionals, reinforcing the values of the sport, such as respect, determination and teamwork.

At the dojô, the children were welcomed by the coach of the under-13 and under-15 red-black judo teams, Rodrigo Domiciano, who, together with club athletes, shared his experiences and spoke about the importance of dedication to progress in the sport. “In the midst of so many negative references, it is essential that these children have positive references. Here they can see that it is possible to reach a higher degree, seek a black belt, seek important competitions and this will change their realities”, he said.

For many, the day was a unique opportunity to become inspire, dream big and continue following the path of sport. “The children came very excited. They've been talking about coming here to Flamengo for a week. It's important for them to be here, in a different place, with so much structure... This all makes them want to dedicate themselves more”, said professor Alves, who teaches judo at Jogaremos Juntos - Núcleo Queimados. Cantagalo resident Leda Maria Pereira de Macedo, mother of student Davi, added. “Children who live in communities need sports so they don't get lost and judo has already got my son back on track. He now has discipline, he has become another child! Davi takes a shower, goes to bed early... I'm very happy. I'm very grateful to have the project there”, she praised.

With its own methodology, Jogaremos Juntos is an education project through sport, based on socio-emotional skills. Through it, children and young people have the opportunity to work on self-knowledge, resilience, empathy, focus and other skills that they learn from sports and put into practice to face and overcome challenges in life, whether at school, in family or with friends.

In total, the project serves 800 children in six communities in Rio de Janeiro - Cantagalo Pavão Pavãozinho, Complexo do Alemão, Vila Aliança, Morro do Banco, Santa Cruz and Queimados - with classes football, judo, basketball, artistic gymnastics and volleyball. The project is encouraged by the Federal Sports Incentive Law and has Shell as a sponsor.

The State Secretariat for Women presented to the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo actions to prevent and combat violence against women, which are part of the national program "Before It Happens". In a meeting this Monday morning (16) with President Rodolfo Landim and representatives of the board of directors of the Gávea club, the State Secretary for Women, Heloisa Aguiar, and the State's First Lady, Analine Castro, invited the Rubro-Negro signs to join the program.

-We are very happy because Flamengo has already accepted the invitation to join the "Before It Happens" program. The State Secretariat for Women is already doing a lot of work with the teams in Rio de Janeiro. It's much more than football. It's about the lives of the people around us - said the first lady of the State, Analine Castro.

The "Before It Happens" program is a national initiative to strengthen public policies aimed at protecting women. One of the objectives is to align technology and innovation in monitoring women who are victims of domestic and family violence. The Government of RJ was the first to join the program, in May this year.

- Flamengo already carries out some actions in defense of women, and the U-17 men's football team received one of our lectures from SerH, the Human Education and Responsibility Service, in August, in Ninho do Urubu. We want to strengthen this bond. With the signing of adherence to the "Before It Happens" program, actions in defense of women's rights will gain a great ally, amplifying the message against any type of gender-based violence. We are working to have all football teams united in this cause for the girls and women of the state of Rio - said the state secretary for Women, Heloisa Aguiar.

For Landim, uniting the actions already developed by the club in favor of women to the "Before It Happens" protocol is to add efforts to confront cases of violence:

- Let's complement the actions and reinforce our social role in this cause that is so important for all of society.

< b>Program combines technology and data

"Before It Happens" was prepared by federal deputy (PL-RJ) Soraya Santos and senator Daniella Ribeiro (PSD-PB), in an integrated action with the Court of Justice of RJ. The Federal Supreme Court (STF) and the National Council of Justice (CNJ) also signed the protocol of intentions to implement the program's actions. In the State of Rio, the program is coordinated by the State Secretariat for Women, with joint actions by the State Secretariats for Public Security, Health, Science and Technology, in addition to the Court of Justice (TJRJ).

- Joining the "Before It Happens" program intensified the integrated work carried out by our secretariats, other bodies and institutions. Furthermore, it reinforces the State Government's commitment to welcoming women - says Heloisa Aguiar.

As part of the "Before It Happens" program, the government inaugurated the Multiviolet Space in July at the State Hospital of the Woman Heloneida Studart, in São João de Meriti. The room is dedicated to welcoming women victims of violence, with a multidisciplinary care protocol and a humanized approach, which includes gynecologists, psychologists, social workers and nurses. The goal is for the initiative to reach 34 units in the state health network.

"Before It Happens" defined new care flows in health units for women victims of violence. The system includes data collection, consolidation and analysis, pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis for sexually transmitted diseases, such as HIV; emergency contraception, pediatric prophylaxis and viral hepatitis.

The program also includes the improvement of existing tools, such as the Rede Mulher app, which has a "panic button", in addition to other features.

This Sunday morning (23), the mayor of Rio de Janeiro signed the decree expropriating the Gasologista land, where Flamengo intends to build its own stadium. The decree will be published in the Official Gazette this Monday (24) and it provides that the Rubro-Negro house will be the largest in Brazil.

According to information from journalist Lauro Jardim, from "O Globo", the decree will determine that the stadium to be built in Gasometer by the winner of the auction that the city hall will promote after the expropriation should have around 80 thousand seats.

Remembering that Rodolfo Landim had promised the fans that the new Mais Querido stadium would have capacity for more than 100 thousand people, but the number of 80 thousand seats was defined after negotiations with the city hall taking into account the size of the land and the needs for urban interventions.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST STADIUMS IN SOUTH AMERICA

Thus, the new Mais Querido stadium will be the largest in Brazil, but not in South America South. This is because the Monumental de Núñez, recently renovated by River Plate, increased its capacity to 84,567 seats.

DECREE WILL BE PUBLISHED THIS MONDAY

The expropriation decree with more details will be published in the Official Gazette of the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro this Monday (24). Highlighting that expropriation was the path found by Paes and Flamengo after Caixa refused to sell the land to Mais Querido.
