FLAMENGO COUNCIL VOTES NEW MILLIONAIRE SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT THIS MONDAY

Sesc Flamengo, one of the main teams in Brazilian volleyball, underwent a significant reformulation for the 2024/25 season, and one of the main new additions to the squad is central Jussara. With extensive international experience and after an excellent spell at Maringá last season, the 28-year-old athlete spoke exclusively about her arrival at the club, her plans and the fierce competition for a place in the starting team.

Like other players in the squad, Jussara highlights the quality of the team and the excellence of the committee technique led by Bernardinho as crucial factors in his decision to wear the Flamengo shirt. The center, who has already played in Portugal, France, Israel and other Brazilian clubs, sees his arrival at Sesc Flamengo as a great opportunity to boost his career.

"Sesc RJ Flamengo is one of the biggest clubs from Brazil. Knowing the team's interest in me was extremely gratifying and motivating. The biggest champion since the merger with the Sesc project, the club is now looking to return to the final and win the title that eluded them in previous seasons. Jussara believes that the newly formed group has the potential to achieve this goal.

The central position is one of those that has undergone the most changes in the Sesc Flamengo squad for the 2024/25 season. With the departure of Juciely and Valquíria, starters in the last three seasons, the club hired Lorena and Jussara to fill these vacancies. Now, they join Juju and Adria, who were already part of the team, and the competition for a place in the starting lineup promises to be intense.

The Zé Delivery brand, a company specializing in Ambev beverage delivery, has become the new sponsor of Flamengo. Its logo will be displayed on professional football socks until the end of 2025, in exchange for R$11 million. Furthermore, the parties are negotiating for a possible exclusivity, which could yield an additional R$15 million to Mengão.

According to information from journalist Lauro Jardim, Flamengo and Ambev are discussing the sale and exhibition of draft beer and other company drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic alcoholic drinks, at the Gávea headquarters and at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center. The proposal is for this exhibition to be carried out exclusively. If the agreement is closed, Rubro-Negro would receive an additional R$15 million.

If the R$11 million from socks is guaranteed for football, there are still more Ambev resources destined for other club areas. After all, another R$10 million will be directed to Olympic sports, while R$5 million will be allocated to FlaTV. This means that, at this first moment, the brand will invest a total of R$26 million in Flamengo, valid until the end of 2025.

For football, through midfielder, payment will occur in four installments. The first of them takes place on May 1st, with 35% of the value. Afterwards, Flamengo will receive another 15% on August 1st. The third only occurs on May 1, 2025, with another 35%. Finally, 15% on August 1, 2026.

Zé Delivery, from Ambev, will make his debut in Flamengo's uniform next Saturday (30), against Nova Iguaçu, in the first match of the final of the Carioca Championship. The ball starts at 5pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã.
