Márcio, youngest son of MC Marcinho, fruit of the relationship with MC Cacau, recently started a lawsuit against his brothers and his uncle, Mauro Garcia, questioning the true heritage left by the artist, who died in 2023.

"My problem with the other person (MC Cacau) is no longer today, it has been going on for many years. We never brought these issues out, but in the face of everything I will talk. Now it's It's very easy for people on social media to treat Marcio as the best person in the world, to wear a shirt, when, in fact, Marcio experienced a lot of bad things with these people. Marcio never wanted to sing (with MC Cacau), he even gave an interview saying this. This project that they are launching now did not come from Marcio's heart. It came from other people who took advantage of the fact that he passed away and his opinion is no longer valid. They are putting on the street a project that has been shelved for many years", he said Kelly.
MC Marcinho left an inheritance of less than half a million reais to be divided among his five children. Among the singer's assets are two properties: the house he lived in in Bangu, in the West Zone of Rio, and a plot of land in Mauá, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo.
In addition, the copyright of the artist's songs is also at stake. The children appointed Mauro Roberto Nepomuceno Garcia, Marcinho's brother, to be the administrator of the assets.

Rio - The family of singer MC Marcinho, who died in August 2023, was at the Rio City Council this Monday (17) to receive the main honor given by the House to those who stand out in society, the Medal of Merit Pedro Ernesto, for all his contribution to culture.
Marcio André Nepomuceno Garcia died at the age of 45, on August 26, 2023, at Copa D'Or Hospital, in Copacabana, in the Zona South of Rio, due to multiple organ failure.
He had heart disease and chronic kidney disease, the singer had been hospitalized since June 27th and suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest on July 11th. The funk player was diagnosed with a generalized infection and his health condition has worsened since last Monday.
The artist had undergone surgery to implant an artificial heart and was waiting for a real organ transplant, but was removed from the queue as he was unable to undergo the procedure.
