George Freitas, father of Henrique Bahia, used social media this Friday (22/3) to share with his followers that he had access to the cloud storage system on his son's cell phone. The boy was Marília Mendonça's music producer and died, along with the singer, in the plane crash on November 5, 2021, in Caratinga, Minas Gerais.
On Instagram, George posted photos from his cell phone and celebrated the decision. “Justice releases our son @henrique_ba’s icloud. Lots of memories from photos, videos and emails,” he wrote. In addition to Marília Mendonça and Henrique Bahia, the artist's advisor and uncle, Abicieli Silveira Dias Filhos, and the plane's pilot and co-pilot, Geraldo Martins Medeiros and Tarcísio Pessoa Viana, also died in the plane crash.
On November 5th last year, George Freitas, father of Henrique Bahia, paid tribute to his son on social media. “Today, November 5th, marks two years of missing my son Henrique. I come here to thank all my friends who, since the first news of the accident, showed a lot of solidarity and affection to our family and their son Bernardo (our grandson). From the simplest friend to famous artists, business producers”, George began writing.
Henrique Bahia's father thanked the affection of his son's friends, who were present after the boy's death. “I am moved to know that Henrique Bahia had countless friends, some I already knew, others I met personally after the accident and some I still don't know”, he said.
And he continued: “Today when I receive a simple message from Whatsapp: 'Hi uncle, how are you? How is everyone there?', an invitation to represent him as best man at a wedding ceremony, a like on the things I post or in a comment on Instagram or Facebook, or even coming to our house for a visit, lunch or stay, I'm imagining the positive vibration he is receiving on the spiritual stage where he is and knowing that he left a trail of friendships, love and solidarity on this earthly plane.”
He then concluded: “For this reason, On today's date, I pay a fraternal tribute to all my friends and colleagues, some of whom I call son, nephew and even grandson. I won't mention names so as not to be unfair to someone who might forget. For me, Henrique lives in the hearts of all of you. Just gratitude.”
