The president of Flamengo, Rodolfo Landim, said in an interview with CBN that it is not time for Flamengo to discuss how it will finance the construction of its own stadium and that it must first buy the land. According to Landim, once the land is acquired, Flamengo needs to use the Maracanã concession to be able to calmly plan the best construction and financing model. He assured, however, that the stadium “will come out with or without SAF”.
“Even if we have access to this land, if we are going to take care of all the licensing work, the discussions that we will have together with the city hall regarding people's mobility, the various approvals and construction time, this is a project for at least five years. I even see Maracanã as a way of, once we have the land, structuring a better way to build this stadium and finance this stadium over time. For now, what we really want is to have access to this land, which we believe is very important so that we can later develop this project calmly”, he stated.
Landim hinted that Flamengo was able to acquire the land with its own resources thanks to the club's economic power, which had revenue of almost R$1.4 billion and a surplus of more than R$320 million in 2023, as revealed in the balance sheet published last Thursday.
“We are reducing our debt, and we have a very low net debt. In fact, we are putting together the economic conditions to have a stadium”, he said.
Landim explains his insistence on the land at Gasologista
The president of Flamengo said that the Gasologista land is perfect for Flamengo's plans, which is why he is insisting so much on its acquisition.

Landim defends that Flamengo controls football 'forever'
Landim assured, however, that there is no possibility that, even with the creation of the SAF, Flamengo giving up control of your football.
“There is no reason today so that in whatever Flamengo's project may be, the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo will not be the controller of your football. Whenever people associate the image of the SAF, they see the SAF as a solution to save clubs from bankruptcy. The first thing I want to make publicly is that I understand that Flamengo has no reason why its sports association should not continue to control its football forever.”
Landim attributed it to an attempt by the opposition to create controversial in an election year the anticipation of the discussion on SAF. However, the person who put the issue on the agenda was Landim's cousin and vice-president of Patrimony Arthur Rocha, who gathered signatures for an amendment to regulate the process of transforming the club into SAF. O Cruzeiro acertou a contratação do meia Gerson, ex-Flamengo, e fechou aquele que será o principal reforço do clube nesta janela de transferências. Após insistir nas negociações e ajustar os detalhes finais, a Raposa convenceu o Zenit, da Rússia, a liberar o jogador. O acordo prevê o pagamento de 27 milhões de euros fixos (cerca de R$ 129 milhões), além de três milhões de euros em bônus (aproximadamente R$ 18 milhões). A informação inicial do acerto foi divulgada pelo Central da Toca.
Os últimos dias foram decisivos para a conclusão do negócio. Na Toca da Raposa, os intermediários André Cury e Junio Mendonza acompanharam de perto as tratativas finais ao lado do pai de Gerson, que também atua como seu representante. O trio trabalhou diretamente na resolução de questões burocráticas com o Cruzeiro e o clube russo.
A decisão de Gerson teve como fator determinante o desejo de voltar a ter maior visibilidade no futebol brasileiro, mantendo vivo o sonho de disputar a Copa do Mundo de 2026. Apesar de o técnico Carlo Ancelotti ter sinalizado que manteria o volante no radar mesmo atuando na Rússia, o jogador acabou não sendo convocado. O Cruzeiro tenta a contratação de Gerson desde dezembro. Inicialmente, o Zenit havia fixado o valor de 40 milhões de euros para abrir negociação, o que esfriou as conversas em um primeiro momento.
A primeira proposta da Raposa envolvia 12 milhões de euros em dinheiro, além do zagueiro Jonathan Jesus, avaliado também em 12 milhões de euros e que interessava ao clube russo. A oferta, porém, foi recusada. Na segunda investida, o Cruzeiro subiu a oferta para 25 milhões de euros, sem incluir Jonathan, vetado pelo técnico Tite. O Zenit apresentou uma contraproposta, que acabou sendo aceita pela diretoria celeste e culminou no acerto.
Desde dezembro, o Cruzeiro demonstrava grande confiança em um desfecho positivo para contratar o ex-Flamengo. Nos bastidores, inclusive, jogadores do atual elenco acompanharam de perto o andamento das negociações, buscando informações sobre a possível chegada do meia.

A nova investida do Flamengo por Kaio Jorge voltou a encontrar resistência no Cruzeiro. Na tarde desta quinta-feira (8), a diretoria celeste decidiu rejeitar mais uma proposta rubro-negra pelo atacante, mantendo postura firme nas negociações.
Segundo o jornalista Samuel Venâncio, o clube mineiro já iniciou conversas com o estafe do jogador para tratar de uma renovação contratual, com reajuste salarial. O movimento reforça o entendimento interno de que Kaio Jorge é peça central do elenco.
A oferta mais recente apresentada pelo Flamengo envolvia cifras consideradas altas, superando a marca dos 30 milhões de euros. Ainda assim, os valores ficaram abaixo do patamar estabelecido pelo Cruzeiro para liberar o atacante.
Artilheiro do Campeonato Brasileiro e também da Copa do Brasil em 2025, Kaio Jorge se consolidou como um dos principais nomes do futebol nacional. Diante desse cenário, o clube mineiro fixou o preço em 50 milhões de euros para abrir negociação.
Até o momento, o Flamengo formalizou duas propostas anteriores. A primeira previa 30 milhões de euros, com valores condicionados a metas para atingir esse montante, e foi recusada pelo Cruzeiro. Na sequência, o Rubro-Negro apresentou uma segunda oferta de 24 milhões de euros, acrescida do atacante Everton Cebolinha e de 10% de uma futura mais-valia. A diretoria celeste, no entanto, voltou a rejeitar a investida.
Mesmo diante das negativas, Kaio Jorge segue como prioridade no planejamento do Flamengo. O perfil do atacante agrada ao técnico Filipe Luís, que enxerga no jogador um atleta de mobilidade, capaz de atuar em determinados momentos ao lado de Pedro no setor ofensivo.

O Flamengo identificou um novo alvo para reforçar seu meio-campo na sequência da temporada: o volante Marcos Antônio, do São Paulo. No entanto, tirar o jogador do Morumbi promete ser uma tarefa complexa. Esse detalhe contratual encarece a operação, pois o São Paulo precisa negociar por um valor elevado para garantir que sua margem de lucro seja satisfatória após o repasse aos italianos.
Os bastidores das tratativas também envolvem o nome de outro meio-campista: Allan. O São Paulo demonstrou interesse na contratação do volante do Flamengo, que perdeu espaço na Gávea. Diante disso, a diretoria rubro-negra sugeriu uma composição de negócio envolvendo a troca de Allan por Marcos Antônio. Contudo, a proposta foi prontamente rejeitada pelos dirigentes paulistas, que desejam Allan, mas não abrem mão de Marcos Antônio sem compensação financeira.
