Lorrane Oliveira and Jade Barbosa are in the fight for leadership of the Brazilian Artistic Gymnastics Championship in the overall individual award. Rebeca Andrade and Flávia Saraiva are out of the competition for not having played on the ground. Flamengo's women's team has been dominating the competition, with the best scores on three different devices.

The Brazilian Artistic Gymnastics Championship began this Friday in Bahia, at the Lauro Freitas Arena. Representing Mengão, the four gymnasts made spectacular performances. On the ground, Jade Barbosa won the best score, and Lorrane was just behind in second place. And the great Olympic medalist, Rebeca Andrade, had the best score of the day both on the uneven bars (parallel) and on the balance beam.

Although the Flamengo team has great numbers, it is not a red-black team that leads the general individual competition. Andreza Lima accumulated a total score of 52,734 during the day on the four devices (floor, balance beam, parallel bars and vault). The gymnast got great marks in the different classifications, which puts her in first place.

However, our Lorrane is not far behind. The athlete totaled 52,634 and is in second place in the general classification, followed by Julia Soares. Jade Barbosa received 52,166 at the end of the day and could still make it to the podium. Rebeca and Flávia Saraiva are not competing in this modality, since the two stopped performing on the ground.

The competition is not over yet and this Sunday (20) the athletes return to the Lauro Freitas arena. You will know who is the champion of the individual when the sum of the scores of the two days of competition is carried out. So let's keep cheering for our girls!

Admission to follow the competition live is free, but if you're not in Salvador, no problem! The entire Championship is being broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation. Flamengo enters the stage at 14:00 and will have a classification until 16:55.

The Brazilian football season is nearing its end and with it the mandate of Marcos Brazas vice-president of football from Flamengo. Thus, asked about the situation, Mais Querido's presidential candidate, Rodrigo Dunshee, defined the characteristics he is looking for in the position of the current executive if he wins the race.

"My idea is to professionalize football. I still don't have a name to replace Braz. But so, if there is someone, it will be someone with a much more distant profile The professional will stay in Gávea, not in CT. We want to put someone who has a good history in football, who has experience in football, if we need someone, it will be someone with a much lower profile", declared Dunshee. , on the program 'Os Donos da Bola'.

It's worth remembering that Marcos Braz has been at Flamengo since 2019, when Rodolfo Landim took possession of the club's presidential chair. During his six years in charge of Mais Querido's football, the VP was part of the process that culminated in titles for the club, but also ended up being the target of several criticisms. Therefore, because of this, Braz decided that he will leave the role at the end of the season.

Flamengo is in a presidential election year and behind the scenes are buzzing. Thus, Rodolfo Landim, president of Mais Querido, countered a speech by Luiz Eduardo Baptista (Bap), about being in favor of the construction of the new red-black stadium. Thus, the representative stated that Bap was against, even though he voted in favor.

“Sorry, but it's too much. You can't hear that here, man. So everyone knows that Bap worked against this project the whole time. In fact, his entire group went there, worked against it, in the audience, the entire time, during the meeting. When they saw that they were going to lose, they withdrew. Bap had to stay there and ended up voting in favor out of cowardice”, said Landim.

Rodolfo Landim continued stating that the candidate did not support his position, giving an example of another vote, in which, according to Mais Querido's representative, Bap acted in the same way.

“If he was consistent with the position he had adopted, I would have voted against it, because he worked against it. In fact, the same way he acted in the Globo contract, which he worked against all the time and immediately went there and voted in favor", said Landim in a post on his Instagram profile.

LANDIM APOIO RODRIGO DUNSHEE

On the 14th, the Uni-Fla group held an event to launch Rodrigo Dunshee's candidacy for the presidency of Flamengo. Rodolfo Landim was one of those present and highlighted that the Mais Querido stadium would only emerge if Dunshee was elected.

“A lot of people worked against it all the time. They even went to the Deliberative Council meeting to vote against it. When they saw that they were going to lose badly, 90 people left. I have no doubt that, if we don't elect Rodrigo Dunshee, this stadium won't go away”, stated Landim before completing:

“How difficult it was for us to get our hands on this ground… We've been fighting for this for three years. So, you have no idea how much effort it took, the number of people we talked to, the number of people that had to be convinced to get to this stadium. It's incredible that we saw so many people fighting against this stadium, within our club. It’s unbelievable,” said the manager.
