Marcelly Garcia, one of MC Marcinho's daughters, paid tribute to her father this Saturday, the 11th, the date on which the singer would have turned 46 years old. The funk artist passed away in August, victim of multiple organ failure, after almost two months of hospitalization. In an emotional story, the young woman shared how much she misses her father.
"On this special day, which would be your birthday, how I wish you were here. It's been an extremely difficult day, and The longing grows with each passing moment. I hope to meet you again soon, daddy, because without your presence, it seems that living doesn't have the same meaning. I love you!", expressed Marcelly in a post on her Instagram account.
In September, a week after the singer's death, Marcelly shared a powerful outburst explaining how her father was her point of peace and how much he helped her through bordeline disorder:
"Father, I confess that I'm trying to be as strong as I can, but every day it seems to get more difficult. I know that somewhere you must be looking at me and saying “it will pass” like you always did, and I'm trying to hold on to this, you were and are my point of peace, which makes me want to live and fight for my dreams.'', he wrote before completing.
You taught me that borderline does not define who I am and that he cannot dominate me, I am trying to cling to his words from a worried father who just wanted to see his daughter well", concluded the young woman.

This past Tuesday (17), singer Luísa Sonza celebrated the nomination of the song "Chico", made in honor of Chico Moedas, her ex-boyfriend, for the award for Best Song in the Portuguese Language at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards. The artist, who was betrayed by the influencer shortly after the release of the song, responded to a fan's comment about "making music for others".
"That Chico will never be forgotten", said an internet user in the page's comments by the artist, who also received the nomination for Best Contemporary Pop Album in the Portuguese Language with Escândalo Íntimo. "Mercy. I love Luísa, but don't make music for any man anymore, no. They don't deserve you", wrote another.
"Do you still think that songs are made for other people? I'm the one nominated for a Grammy me and nothing anyone says or does will take away the pride I have in having made this song! I genuinely love it and I believe this is one of, if not the best song I've ever made", replied Luísa Sonza.

Rio - The family of singer MC Marcinho, who died in August 2023, was at the Rio City Council this Monday (17) to receive the main honor given by the House to those who stand out in society, the Medal of Merit Pedro Ernesto, for all his contribution to culture.
Marcio André Nepomuceno Garcia died at the age of 45, on August 26, 2023, at Copa D'Or Hospital, in Copacabana, in the Zona South of Rio, due to multiple organ failure.
He had heart disease and chronic kidney disease, the singer had been hospitalized since June 27th and suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest on July 11th. The funk player was diagnosed with a generalized infection and his health condition has worsened since last Monday.
The artist had undergone surgery to implant an artificial heart and was waiting for a real organ transplant, but was removed from the queue as he was unable to undergo the procedure.
