MC Daniel used his social networks on Thursday (14) to respond to the criticism he received for giving a gift to Zoe, the newborn daughter of MC Ryan SP, of whom he is godfather. The singer bought a variety of gifts, including dolls, a bicycle, roller skates, among others.
“You who are criticizing me for giving a lot of gifts to my goddaughter, you have to understand that your reality is totally different from ours. It's you there and us here. We never had the means to have several toys”, began the funk singer in Instagram stories.
Mel Maia's ex recalled his difficult childhood when it came to money: “How many times did I go to a lot of stores and I was dying for my father to buy me lots of toys. I was embarrassed to ask my father, and my father was embarrassed to tell me that he couldn't give it to me.”
Finally, MC Daniel stated that, now that he has a good financial condition , he will continue giving gifts to the people he loves and also helping those in need.
“Now that we have [conditions] and can provide, do you think we will stop giving? Never in life. I'm going to give a motorcycle to whoever I want, a car to whoever I want, a cell phone to whoever I want and as many toys as I want. You who are criticizing have nothing to do with this. Those who are like us understand and admire”, he concluded.

This past Tuesday (17), singer Luísa Sonza celebrated the nomination of the song "Chico", made in honor of Chico Moedas, her ex-boyfriend, for the award for Best Song in the Portuguese Language at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards. "That Chico will never be forgotten", said an internet user in the page's comments by the artist, who also received the nomination for Best Contemporary Pop Album in the Portuguese Language with Escândalo Íntimo. "Mercy. I love Luísa, but don't make music for any man anymore, no. They don't deserve you", wrote another.

Waiting for his first child with Lorena Maia, MC Daniel opened up about the high price of fame and the impact of this on his mental health, regretting being seen as “a product”. The funk singer, who is one of the best-known artists in the country, shared his difficulties in dealing with public exposure.
In a video shared by the Leo Dias portal, Daniel explained why he publishes few posts on social media. He mentioned that everything he does is subject to judgment. “I no longer have the right to do anything,” he said.
In the same video, the artist spoke about his sadness, explaining that fame has a very high price. “That's why I'm sad, you ask and I don't want to say I'm sad. I thought fame had a high price, but not as high a price as it is”, he declared.
MC Daniel also commented on how difficult it is to deal with attacks on the internet, stating that haters end up “ overcoming him in his weakness” with his attitudes. He highlighted that, given all this, he ended up becoming a “product”.
“I am a product, you know? I'm not like a human... I'm a product for everyone. But, as I became a product, I can't be sad because I have money, so I can't be sad”, he said.
