In a great phase at Flamengo, Wesley, right-back, has invested in specific care to improve his performance. Recently , the athlete hired a private physiotherapist and a performance analyst. The objective is clear: work on your limitations and enhance your qualities, in a constant search for evolution on the field. Wesley, known for his offensive characteristics, aims to balance his defensive actions to establish himself once and for all as a key player in the squad.

At the beginning of the season, the full-back faced difficulties under the command of Tite, who prioritized a more cautious style of play defensively. This caused Wesley to lose space to Varela, who presented a more balanced profile between defense and attack. The phase of uncertainty generated questions about Wesley's future in the starting team, especially given the strong internal competition for the position.

 GETTING INTO SHAPE

However, the arrival of Filipe Luís, who took on a more tactical and guiding role in the team, It was a turning point for Wesley. With Filipe's experience and leadership, the right-back found a new opportunity to stand outr, this time showing more consistency in his defensive duties without opening hand of his offensive vocation. The player's change in posture caught the coach's attention and established him once again as a starter.

RETAKENING OWNERSHIP

Wesley, who has always been praised for his ability to support the attack, now also stands out for the evolution in defensive coverage and positioning. The investment in a private support team, such as the hiring of a physiotherapist and a performance analyst, reflects the seriousness with which the athlete faces the challenge of maintaining the highest level of competitiveness.

Little by little, Wesley managed to regain the trust of the cast and the technical committee, especially with the arrival of Filipe Luís, who brought a new dynamic to the defensive sector and helped the full-back to balance his game. With Flamengo competing for important titles, Wesley's good performance becomes even more crucial, especially in knockout competitions, where every detail makes a difference.

Dissatisfaction in the Corinthians squad, especially among Brazilian players, seems to have gained strength in recent days, with criticism directed at coach Ramón Díaz and his son, Emiliano Díaz. Among the main discontented are big names like Fagner and Igor Coronado, who have reportedly shown dissatisfaction with some recent decisions by the technical committee. The irritation was clear in the last game against Flamengo, when Fagner, the squad's trusted right-back, saw striker Giovane being selected to replace Matheuzinho, something that many saw as a questionable choice.

The decision to select a player outside of his natural position generated discontent among athletes, with the perception that there is favoritism in the team. A Corinthians player, who preferred to remain anonymous, declared that "there is better treatment towards foreigners compared to Brazilians", referring to foreign players who have received more attention and, apparently, more opportunities than Brazilian athletes. This perception of inequality in the management of the squad would have increased the climate of tension within the club.

< b> DEFEAT FOR FLAMENGO IMPLANTS CRISIS

The complaints don't stop there. Behind the scenes, there are complaints of an alleged “pot” formed by the technical committee, led by Emiliano Díaz, son of coach Ramón Díaz. The word "paneleiro" has been used by some players to describe Emiliano, suggesting that he favors certain athletes over others, especially those of foreignorigin. This type of accusation, in addition to weakening the group's morale, can generate internal divisions that directly affect performance on the field.

For experienced players like Fagner, who has already experienced different moments at the club, these situations further aggravate the strain on the coaching staff. The choice of a striker to play in his natural position is seen as a lack of respect and trust in his work, which could increase pressure on coach Ramón Díaz. If the situation is not resolved, the club may have to deal with a more serious internal crisis in the coming days.

CAST DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

In addition to Fagner, other athletes also have shown dissatisfaction with the recent choices of the technical committee. Igor Coronado, another important name in the squad, is also dissatisfied with the treatment has been receiving. Although his criticisms were not as explicit as Fagner's, his stance reflects the growing discontent within the team.

Corinthians finds itself in a delicate situation after failing to meet the 24-hour deadline for paying the R$500,000 fine relating to to the purchase of goalkeeper Hugo Souza, from Flamengo. The São Paulo club, which signed the agreement for the athlete's transfer, now faces a grace period, in which it will have up to 10 days to pay off the debt with Rubro-Negro. If Corinthians does not honor its commitment within this new deadline, Flamengo will take additional measures to guarantee receipt of the amount.

The contract signed between the clubs provided for payment of the fine to be made immediately, but with the initial deadline not being met, Corinthians was notified about the extension of the deadline, offering an additional 10 days to comply. If this new period is also exceeded, Flamengo will be able to formalize a new notification, which will require payment of the debt within five days, under the risk of Corinthians losing the right to complete the purchase of the goalkeeper.

FLAMENGO HAS IMPATIENCE

This situation could directly impact Corinthians' planning, which sees in Hugo Souza a fundamental piece to reinforce its squad. However, if the São Paulo club does not pay the fine within the established deadlines, not only will it be prevented from completing the negotiation, but it may also face additional financial problems if the Flamengo resorts to more severe sanctions, such as interest on the amount owed or even legal action .

FLAMENGO HEADACHE

Hugo Souza's transfer was one of the most talked about market movements in Brazilian football recently. The young goalkeeper, who already had important spells at Flamengo and was seen as a promise at the Rio club, now lives with the expectation of taking on new challenges at Corinthians. However, the financial issues surrounding the negotiation cast a shadow of doubt on the outcome of this process.

For Flamengo, punctual collection of amounts is essential to maintain the club's financial strength, which has stood out in recent years not only for its performance on the field, but also for the careful management of its finance. The delay in payment by Corinthians is seen with concern by the Rubro-Negro board, which has already shown signs that it does not intend to give up the agreed rights.
