Recognized as the "Samba Poet", Jorge Aragão teams up with Minas Gerais singer Marcelle Motta to present a new look for the hit "O Negócio É Amar". The song, composed by Dolores Duran and Carlos Lyra, entered rotation on digital platforms last Friday, the 7th, in a romantic atmosphere to celebrate Valentine's Day.

"O Negócio É Amar" is a song that has already been in Aragão's repertoire and, according to the samba singer, it addresses the complexity and diversity of love relationships. With lyrics that cover the different behaviors of those who love, in positive and negative aspects, the song brings a message that resonates in hearts.

A PARTNERSHIP SONHADA

Marcelle Motta says that the partnership between the artists began to be designed in 2010, when she heard the song for the first time in the samba singer's voice. Since then, the singer fell in love with the song and always dreamed of recording it in partnership with Aragão. After nine years, this dream finally became reality.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE NEW VERSION

Arranged by Daniel Aranha, the new version of "O Negócio É Amar" highlights elements such as percussion, bringing an extra touch of "sauce" and excitement to the original song. Maintaining the introduction made by João de Aquino, the new version is a true masterpiece that promises to win over listeners.

LAUNCH AND EXPECTATIONS"O Negócio É Amar" is a release by Marcelle Motta, via Aragão Music. The partnership between Jorge Aragão and Marcelle Motta promises to delight the public with a new interpretation of a Brazilian samba classic, bringing all the emotion and passion present in the original song.

In the week she released the fourth edition of 'Lud Session', featuring IZA, Ludmilla revealed that she has plans to tour the acoustic project. For the audiovisual, the artist from Duque de Caxias has already received names such as Gloria Groove, Luísa Sonza and Xamã.

“Do you know what makes me happy? I'm sure that if we put the 'Lud Session tour' on the street, it will be a hit. I'm going to take advantage of this space to say that, yes, there is the 'Lud Session Tour' project, but it will be something very minimalist, different from anything I've ever done. It's going to be a show designed for theater”, said Ludmilla on the TVZ program, on Multishow, presented by Preta Gil.

“Because I've already done a show like that, I've filmed it, but I haven't published it. It was already a project of mine to do a more acoustic show to have in my catalog and I started to mature. Yes, come on!”, he added.

“Lud Session is an innovative project, where we revisit songs with a new arrangement, a new look. People like listening to old things and I loved singing these songs that are so important in our career. And having the opportunity to have IZA participate in this project was incredible, especially because she is pregnant with Nala. Together, we were able to give new life to these songs that we love so much, as well as celebrating our friendship and passion for music”, said Lud.

On February 4, Zeca Pagodinho will record an audiovisual album in his hometown, Rio de Janeiro (RJ), during a show at the Nilton Santos Stadium, known as Engenhão. On the occasion, the Rio artist will celebrate his 65th birthday.

Alcione, Diogo Nogueira, Jorge Aragão, Marcelo D2, Seu Jorge and Xande de Pilares make up the cast of guests who will join Zeca in the live recording. This event at the Rio stadium will mark the beginning of the national tour of the retrospective show entitled "Zeca Pagodinho 40 years".

By the way, the title of the tour that Zeca Pagodinho will carry out throughout 2024, visiting the main capitals of the Brazil, reflects the significant time the artist spent on stage.

In 2024, Zeca Pagodinho will officially celebrate 41 years of career, considering that the singer and composer was introduced to Brazil in 1983 by Beth Carvalho (1946 – 2019). On that occasion, the singer recorded a samba by the then-unknown party member - "Camarão que Dorme a Onda Leva", a partnership between Zeca and Arlindo Cruz and Beto Sem Braço (1940 - 1993) - in a duet with Zeca himself for the album "Suor no face" (1983).

His first solo album, "Zeca Pagodinho", was only released in 1986, a year after his participation in the collective album "Raça brasileira" (1985), which served as a phonographic vehicle for the definitive national projection of Zeca and Jovelina Pérola Negra (1944 – 1998).
