Recognized as the "Samba Poet", Jorge Aragão teams up with Minas Gerais singer Marcelle Motta to present a new look for the hit "O Negócio É Amar". The song, composed by Dolores Duran and Carlos Lyra, entered rotation on digital platforms last Friday, the 7th, in a romantic atmosphere to celebrate Valentine's Day.
"O Negócio É Amar" is a song that has already been in Aragão's repertoire and, according to the samba singer, it addresses the complexity and diversity of love relationships. With lyrics that cover the different behaviors of those who love, in positive and negative aspects, the song brings a message that resonates in hearts.
Marcelle Motta says that the partnership between the artists began to be designed in 2010, when she heard the song for the first time in the samba singer's voice. Since then, the singer fell in love with the song and always dreamed of recording it in partnership with Aragão. After nine years, this dream finally became reality.
Arranged by Daniel Aranha, the new version of "O Negócio É Amar" highlights elements such as percussion, bringing an extra touch of "sauce" and excitement to the original song. Maintaining the introduction made by João de Aquino, the new version is a true masterpiece that promises to win over listeners.
