Preta Gil receives support from celebrities after resuming cancer treatment

Globo has forwarded an agreement with actress Bella Campos for her to be part of the cast of the remake of "Vale Tudo", scheduled to air in April 2025 in the network's prime time. In the plot, she will be Maria de Fátima, daughter of Raquel, who in the new version will be played by Taís Araújo.

The column found that all that remains is to sign the contract. Globo is not confirming Bella yet because of this and also for strategic reasons. The company should only start talking about the remake in October.

Bella was not the favorite for the role. She only tested last month. Julia Dalavia appeared behind the scenes for the choice. However, she weighed two factors. The first was the fact that Bella was a trusted name for Paulo Silvestrini, the director responsible for the remake. They worked together in "Vai na Fé" (2023).

The second is more logical: Bella convinces the public more as Taís Araújo's daughter than Julia would, because they physically resemble each other. Bella's popularity among young audiences and her performance in recent soap operas also weighed heavily.

Bella Campos is 26 years old and is from Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. She debuted on TV in 2022 as Muda, in the remake of "Pantanal" (2022). Her performance earned her the award for best supporting actress at the 2022 Best of the Year.

Her debut was supposed to take place in 2020. She passed tests to be part of that year's season of "Malhação", which was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The soap opera never returned to the air.

In addition to Taís Araújo and Bella Campos, names such as Cauã Reymond and Paolla Oliveira are also included in the serial's cast. Fernanda Torres negotiates to be Odete Roitman.

In its original version, "Vale Tudo" told the story of Raquel, who is abandoned by her husband and is forced to raise her daughter, the ambitious Maria de Fátima, alone. , then played by Gloria Pires. Its ending was suspenseful thanks to the question that made Brazil stop: "Who killed Odete Roitman?".

In addition to the original airing, the plot had three reruns: one on Globo in 1992 (when standards image quality requirements were not as high as from the following decade) and two others on the Viva channel, in 2010 and 2018.

In 2022, Globo even considered a rerun of the plot in Vale Pena Ver de Novo, instead of the re-exhibition of "The Clone" (2001), but the plans were scrapped.

This Tuesday (17), singer Preta Gil took her fans by surprise when she confirmed her romance with singer O Kanalha. The artist made a statement to her loved one in her Instagram stories. However, the two have not yet officially started dating, but the celebrity paid tribute to the artist's birthday.

In the images taken at the time she was hospitalized, Preta Gil appears sitting on the hospital bed while the singer feeds her: “This video sums up who you are: careful, loving and very cute!!! Thank you for being light in our lives!”, wrote the businesswoman.

The singer also left another affectionate statement on the profile of Danrlei Orrico (the singer's given name), who is turning 27: “Congratulations May it be a new year of many achievements, love and health! I love you”, declared Preta Gil.

Preta and Danrlei have become very close in recent months and, at the beginning of the year, O Kanalha was mentioned as a new affair for the singer after an intimate statement. At the time, she joked about the case, but neither denied nor confirmed that they were actually together.

At the beginning of September, after the singer confirmed the return of cancer, Preta mentioned that she is living a new life. love: “It’s beating, it’s beating very hard, thank God. I'm loving someone. I am really well. Very well, I'm very happy”, declared the famous woman, without giving names.

Singer Preta Gil, 50, shared with her followers that she is starting a treatment for hair growth. In a series of stories published on Saturday (31), she shows the procedure carried out in a spa to stimulate hair growth.

Recently, the artist revealed that she resumed her cancer treatment after the cancer spread to four different places.  Preta explains how the procedure works.

"This here is a scalp circulation stimulator, so the hair grows healthy. Now I removed all the extensions, right, let's go", says the singer. In another moment, the artist records herself receiving a head massage. "In addition to all the wonderful treatments, you also get a neck and head massage, it's crazy," she says.

On the 20th, Preta announced that she resumed her oncological treatment, after a year since her surgery to treat colorectal cancer, with which she was diagnosed in January 2023. The artist was discharged from Hospital Sírio-Libanês , in São Paulo, on the 26th and received a pajama party from his family.

The singer explained that she was in remission, but the recurrence (return) of the cancer can happen over a period of about five years. “Not only in my case, but in the case of 40% of people who have primary cancer, and that's what happened to me, my cancer came back.”
