The team doesn't have a break even with Tite's dismissal and Flamengo begins preparations for the Copa do Brasil

Tite and his coaching staff arrived at Flamengo on October 9, 2023, after the departure of Argentine Jorge Sampaoli. With a contract until the end of 2024, the former coach of the Brazilian team leaves his position three months ahead of schedule. During his tenure, he managed the team in 70 games, achieving 41 wins, 13 draws and 16 defeats, with a total of 109 goals scored and 50 conceded. Tite ends his time with the Carioca Championship title and a 64.7% success rate.

Now, Flamengo returns to the field under new management. Filipe Luís, an old acquaintance of Gerson, takes interim command in the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil. This Wednesday (02), Fla will face Corinthians in the first game of the national knockout competition, with Filipe Luís on the sidelines.

The classic between Flamengo and Corinthians will take place at 9:45 pm ( Brasília time) at Maracanã.

Tite is no longer Flamengo's coach. Mais Querido announced the decision this Monday (30) through its social networks. Filipe Luís takes charge of the team on an interim basis. For commentator Paulo Vinicius Coelho (PVC), the attitude of the red and black board was extremely toxic, recalling the departure of another coach at the beginning of Rodolfo Landim's presidency.

With Flamengo's elimination from the Libertadores, the red and black fans hope that the team will focus its attention on the only competitions left: Brasileirão and Copa do Brasil. Thus, after Mais Querido's victory in the points competition this Sunday (29), Tite guaranteed that Matheus Cunha will be the team's starter in the match against Corinthians.
