Flamengo purchased the land for R$ 138,195,000.00 for the construction of the new stadium, but they still don't know if this will be the total amount to keep the space in the Gasometer region. The rules of the city council's notice place responsibility for possible losses in court on the club's account, in the dispute between Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) as litigant.
Articles 11.7 and 11.8 of the final version of the notice, dated July 9, make clear the obligation of the successful bidder (Flamengo ) in the payment of "any difference, if any, between the value of the winning bid at the auction and that fixed in the expropriation process".
In the terms of purchase and sale of the property, the club undertakes to assume any judicial liens, taxes, tariffs and fines levied on the property, "renouncing, irrevocably, the right to subsequently charge such amounts from the Municipality".
For the lawyer specializing in administrative law Francisco Defanti, these conditions create some uncertainty about the final amount to be paid by Flamengo to take over the land in the central region of Rio de Janeiro, in addition to directing any possible loss to the club.
"There is no up or down parameter low. The value could be very high. It's a risk. It is the main risk that Flamengo runs. For any bidder who enters this model, the risk is this: you don't know what the value set by the judge will be up front. And Flamengo is committed to paying the difference that may be determined by the judge. This is both in the notice and in the promise of purchase and sale" - said Defanti in an interview with the portal "Lance".
Flamengo trusts in well-done expertise
Flamengo is aware of the litigious process ahead and calculated the risks before entering the auction. Before the notice, Flamengo offered R$250 million to reach an agreement with the current owners. The expropriation process could have been carried out amicably, but there was no agreement. For this reason, the City of Rio initiated the expropriation process because it considered the property "abandoned and without fulfilling its social function".
Now, an expert was appointed by the Court to determine the value of the property. Any possible divergence with the assessment made by the city hall will be resolved by the judge.

Flamengo inicia nesta segunda-feira (10) a operação de venda de ingressos para o primeiro desafio da fase de mata-mata do Campeonato Carioca. O Rubro-Negro enfrenta o Botafogo no próximo domingo, dia 15 de fevereiro, às 17h30, no Estádio Nilton Santos, em duelo válido pelas quartas de final da competição estadual.
Para este confronto, o clube reforça a obrigatoriedade do uso de tecnologia para o acesso. A comercialização das entradas será feita exclusivamente de forma online, através da plataforma parceira Ingresse, e exige que todos os torcedores tenham o cadastro de biometria facial ativo.
O Flamengo estabeleceu uma ordem de prioridade para a aquisição das entradas. Os sócios-torcedores dos planos Nação Maraca e Nação Sem Fronteiras têm preferência e podem comprar a partir desta segunda-feira (10), às 17h. A abertura para o público geral ocorre no dia seguinte, terça-feira (11), também às 17h.

Flamengo entra em campo na noite desta terça-feira (10) para cumprir seu compromisso pela terceira rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro. O adversário será o Vitória, e a partida acontece às 21h30 (horário de Brasília), no Estádio Manoel Barradas, o Barradão, em Salvador.
O duelo coloca frente a frente duas equipes tradicionais em busca de afirmação neste início de competição nacional. Para o torcedor que deseja acompanhar o confronto, é importante atentar-se às opções de transmissão, visto que a partida não constará na grade da televisão aberta.

Cria das categorias de base do Flamengo, Wesley voltou a ser destaque nesta segunda-feira (9), no duelo entre Roma e Cagliari, pelo Campeonato Italiano. Novamente escalado na ala esquerda pelo técnico Gian Piero Gasperini, o brasileiro teve atuação consistente e participou diretamente da vitória da equipe da capital por 2 a 0.
O jovem atuou mais uma vez em uma função bem diferente daquela que exercia no clube carioca. Wesley foi utilizado na ala esquerda de uma linha de quatro no meio-campo da Roma, ao lado de Zeki Çelik, Bryan Cristante e Niccolò Pisilli. O sistema ainda contou com três zagueiros, Mancini, Ndicka e Ghilardi, enquanto o trio ofensivo foi formado por Soulé, Pellegrini e Malen.
Com menos responsabilidades defensivas, Wesley foi uma dor de cabeça constante para o lado direito da defesa do Cagliari. Zé Pedro sofreu pelo setor e terminou a partida com a pior nota no Sofascore, enquanto Palestra não escapou do cartão amarelo.
