The Flamengo agreed to sign Carlinhos, from Nova Iguaçu, last Friday (29). However, Mais Querido is being accused of being unethical, as the news was confirmed by Marcos Braz before the ball rolled for the first leg of the Carioca final. According to commentator Breiller Pires, the move can be considered "cunning".
“In a cunning move, Flamengo announced this Saturday, before the final against Nova Iguaçu, the signing of striker Carlinhos, vice-president. top scorer in the Carioca Championship and one of the main names of the Baixada Fluminense team”, says an excerpt from Breiller's column on the Terra portal.

So far, Flamengo confirmed just one signing for the season 2025: striker Juninho, ex-Qarabag (AZE). This Thursday (16), the player had his name published in the Daily Newsletter (BID) of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) , which makes him eligible to debut for the club.
However, Juninho will still not be available for Flamengo's next matches against Madureira , São Paulo (FC Series friendly) and Nova Iguaçu. This is because he will await the return of the red and black delegation, which is in pre-season in the United States, tointegrate with the main squad. Until then, the striker will continue training at CT Ninho do Urubu to maintain his physical shape.
DEBUT PREVIEW
Juninho must be prepared to debut in the game against Volta Round, scheduled for January 25th, at the Mané Garrincha Stadium, in Brasília. This match will be the professional team's debut in the Campeonato Carioca.
CARIOCA REGULATION
The Campeonato Carioca regulations require players to be registered up to five days before taking the field. This way, Flamengo will not face difficulties in counting on Juninho in the match against Volta Redonda, as the clash will only take place on January 25th.
THE NEGOTIATION
Juninho's signing was completed after Flamengo offer 5 million euros (around R$ 31.2 million) to Qarabag. After increasing the initial proposal, the Azerbaijani club accepted the offer. Payment will be made in installments, in three installments.
