Known as "Déla" among Brazilians and "Nico" by the coaching staff, the 26-year-old midfielder is going through an adaptation process, both on and off the field. The nickname "Déla" came from an adaptation of the original name by the player Pedro, who called him that in training, and since then the nickname has caught on among his Brazilian colleagues.

Furthermore, he has dedicated himself to training free kicks, an aspect in which he excelled during his time at River Plate.
However, it is important to highlight that even with just a month at Flamengo, he is still It is too early to make definitive judgments on De la Cruz's performance. Adapting to a new club, country and style of play can take time, and patience is required from both the coaching staff and the fans. With his talent and dedication, it is hoped that De la Cruz can contribute to Flamengo's success this season.

According to a survey released by the Transfermarkt platform, Flamengo boasts four of the ten players who have lost the most market value in Brazil. The analysis takes into account each player's individual performance throughout the season and identifies the Rio de Janeiro club as the leader in the rankings.

One of the most consistent scorers in Brazilian football in recent years, Pedro lost his place at the beginning of the season due to injuries and was even dropped from the squad following internal problems. Despite regaining prominence recently, his market value has dropped by around €2 million.
Left-back Viña also makes the rankings. Michael , who also struggled with physical problems, became one of coach Filipe Luís's last attacking options, which explains his drop in rating.
