It is worth remembering that Garotos do Ninho lost the first leg, in Serrinha, by 4-2, and needed to win by three goals to qualify for the next phase.

The game
Needing at least two goals to force penalties, the Garotos do Ninho started the match by taking the initiative to seek the attack. When they were without the ball, the red and black team advanced the marking to force Goiás to make a mistake. At 18', after a cross from the right, Shola took the first shot and the Emerald defense took it over the line.
With larger volume of the game, Flamengo continued to attack. At 25', Felipe Teresa risked a shot from outside the area and the goalkeeper saved it for a corner. In the final minutes of the opening stage, the red-and-black number 9 again arrived well on the right side, made a great individual play and hit hard with his left-hander. The equalizing goal did little good, as the red-black team had lost the first game 4-2, in Serrinha. As a result, Garotos do Ninho ended up being eliminated from the competition.
