Flamengo faced CB Granada today (8) in the third game of the pre-season. After the victory against Coruña last Thursday, FlaBasquete ended up being beaten by the home team by 81 to 54.
MATCH SUMMARY
1st Quarter
The match started with Granada at an intense pace and soon opened up a certain advantage on the scoreboard. Around 6 minutes into the game, Pride of the Nation managed to get a good score with Jordan Williams and Gui Deodato but it wasn't enough to reduce the advantage and the first quarter ended 25 to 17.
2nd Quarter
The second quarter started differently, FlaBasquete kept up with the pace set by Granada and managed to attack more, reducing the advantage on the scoreboard. The advantage dropped to 5 points, but the opposing team was quick to react and in the final 3 minutes of the quarter managed to pull away again, 44 to 25.
3rd Quarter
Still behind in the score FlaBasquete looked for a game, but ended up opening space in defense and Granada took advantage. Even with Franco Balbi's good performance in the fourth, the opposing team managed to open a greater gap on the scoreboard. The quarter ended 62 to 44.
4th Quarter
The last quarter was a reflection of the game, FlaBasquete tried to get the result, but in the end ended up being overcome by Granada by 81 to 54.
