FLAMENGO ANNOUNCES HISTORICAL CHANGE IN ELECTIONS FOR CLUB PRESIDENT AT THE END OF 2024

Flamengo confirmed, this Tuesday afternoon, that the presidential elections will take place at the beginning of December. In a statement from the president of the General Assembly, Carlos Henrique Fernandes dos Santos, the club announced news for this year's election, and the main one is the adoption of electronic ballot boxes.
Voters will abandon the printed vote and use a ballot box electronic vote for the first time, which will certainly speed up the vote counting process. In addition to electing the president and vice-president of Flamengo for the next three years, the election will define the president and vice-president of the General Assembly and the members of the Transitional Bodies of the Deliberative and Administration Councils.
Identification of plates, which were previously made by colors, will be by numbers from this year onwards. They will have from September 10th to 30th to be confirmed in the elections.
Current president, Rodolfo Landim is in his second term and does not have the right to be re-elected. The president will certainly launch a name to represent his ticket, but there is no confirmation of the name yet. The most popular are Luiz Eduardo Baptista, BAP, and Rodrigo Dunshee de Abranches, current deputy general and legal.

The member must express their intention to join the Permanent Body of the Deliberative Council in the months of September to November of the election year, and the term of their three-year mandate will run from the day following the election for president of Flamengo to the day immediately preceding the election. following election;
Inclusion of requirement to run for President of Flamengo. Sign a term of commitment and personal, joint and several liability for any intentional illicit act that is proven to cause damage to the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo;
