The Flamengo under-20s were champions of the Libertadores category after beating Boca Juniors in the grand final. Thus, Mais Querido's highlight in the competition, striker Wallace Yan, the tournament's top scorer, received the top scorer award this Friday (14).

Wallace Yan scored four goals in five played for Mais Querido, even number of goals Iago achieved in the tournament. However, for achieving the feat in fewer minutes than the defender, the striker took the trophy for top scorer in the U20 Libertadores.

Last Saturday (8), Flamengo faced Vasco in the first game of the Copa Rio under-17 final. Most Querido won by a score of 2 to 1 and the team led by Filipe Luís is one step away from lifting the competition trophy. Furthermore, the title will be the first in the former player's career as coach of Rubro-Negro.

Announced as coach of the under-17 team in January 2024, Filipe Luís started in his new role after retiring from the field in 2023 Since making his debut as commander of Mais Querido, the former full-back has never drawn. In total, there were 17 games, 14 wins and three defeats, with 50 goals scored and 13 conceded.
