Grêmio announced that it will increase the space for Flamengo fans at the Arena during the first game of the Copa do Brasil semifinal, which will take place in Porto Alegre next Wednesday. The same will happen in the return game, in Maracanã, on August 16.
According to the statement released by Grêmio, part of the gremista members of the Superior Sul sector will be reallocated to the Gramado Sul sector, which will allow that the entire Superior Sul sector be destined for visiting fans, guaranteeing a greater number of seats than usual. This measure was taken together with Flamengo, who will do the same in the return game, in Maracanã, for the Gremista fans.
The change is specific to the Copa do Brasil game and aims to provide a more suitable experience for both fans. In the last update, almost 15,000 tickets had already been sold for the match. The Upper East, North and Northwest sectors are already sold out, and sales to the general public will open this Saturday at 11 am.
The first game between Grêmio and Flamengo will be next Wednesday, at 9.30 pm, at the Grêmio Arena, and the return game will take place at Maracanã, on August 16, also at 9.30 pm.
