rthur Aguiar, winner of BBB 22, expressed his bewilderment at what he describes as a "boycott" of Globo following his victory on the reality show. In an interview with Otalab, the singer and actor shared his experience of having doors closed to him at the network.
“It would be arrogant of me to say that Globo lost me. What I can say, and I've never talked about it, is that to this day I still can't understand what actually happened. I stayed in the house for seven years, did several jobs, and they were the ones who called me. It wasn't that I knocked on the door and said 'Guys, please let me do Big Brother'”, he began during the conversation with Otaviano Costa.
He highlighted that he doesn't consider himself arrogant when he said that Globo "lost" him, but stressed that he cannot fully understand what happened. During the interview with Otaviano Costa, Arthur explained that he spent seven years working at the broadcaster, playing roles in several soap operas, such as "Malhação" (2009), "Êta Mundo Bom!" (2016) and "The Other Side of Paradise" (2017). Furthermore, he participated in the program "Super Dança dos Famosos" in 2021.
Arthur emphasized that it was Globo itself that invited him to participate in Big Brother Brasil and that he was the first member of the group "Camarote " to win the program, as well as the first man to achieve this achievement in eight years. He expressed his surprise and disappointment with the situation, noting that before his participation in the program, he had much more space and opportunities at the network.
