O Botafogo, adversário da vez, é uma das principais vítimas de Bruno Henrique, que vive em 2026 seu último ano de contrato com o clube.
Aos 35 anos, o atacante ainda não definiu o futuro. O vínculo com o Flamengo termina em dezembro, mês em que completará 36 anos. Internamente, o jogador avalia a possibilidade de encerrar a carreira ao fim da temporada. A informação é do portal GE.
A diretoria entende que a palavra final será do próprio atleta. Caso Bruno Henrique manifeste o desejo de seguir atuando, o clube está disposto a abrir conversas para renovação. O status conquistado ao longo dos anos respalda qualquer negociação.
Após o título brasileiro de 2025, o camisa 27 revelou o desejo de encerrar a trajetória no clube: “O meu desejo, minha vontade, é terminar aqui no Flamengo. Neste domingo (15), às 17h30 (horário de Brasília), o Flamengo enfrenta o Botafogo no Estádio Nilton Santos, o Engenhão, pelas quartas de final do Campeonato Carioca. O duelo será eliminatório, sem vantagem para nenhuma das equipes, em caso de empate no tempo regulamentar, a classificação será decidida nos pênaltis. Com isso, o técnico Filipe Luís anunciou o time titular.
Andrew; Emerson Royal, Vitão, Danilo, Ayrton Lucas; Pulgar, Carrascal, Paquetá; Samuel Lino, Gonzalo Plata e Bruno Henrique.
Varela e Jorginho seguem como desfalques. Saúl permanece em recuperação de cirurgia no tornozelo esquerdo. Além deles, Alex Sandro e De La Cruz não devem atuar por conta das limitações relacionadas ao gramado sintético. Quem avançar no clássico enfrentará o Madureira na semifinal do estadual.
