Brazilian football could soon receive a major boost. Emerson Royal, currently at Tottenham, in England, is considering the possibility of returning to Brazil. With his future undefined in Europe, the full-back has been investigated by several clubs, including Flamengo.

Without many chances in the Premier League, Emerson Royal has aroused the interest of other major European clubs, such as Milan and Bayern Munich. However, the player is focused on finding a club where he can play more regularly, aiming for a possible return to the Brazilian team

The full-back has been bothered by the lack of opportunities at Tottenham. In an interview with EPTV, an affiliate of Rede Globo, Emerson Royal highlighted his competitiveness and frustration at being on the bench. "It bothers me a lot to be on the bench. I was upset and told the coach that. I've always been very professional and one of those who put the most intensity in training, but this situation doesn't work for me", said the player.

He also highlighted his desire to play regularly. "I'm not a player who stays on the bench. I want to play. If it's not here, I understand. But I want to go somewhere I can play", added Emerson Royal, who has been scouted by Flamengo.

FLAMENGO INTERESTED

Flamengo, which has been active in the transfer market, is one of the clubs interested in Emerson Royal. However, Tottenham set a high value for the negotiation, asking for more than R$100 million for the player. The expectation is that negotiations will progress in the coming days, with Flamengo trying to bring the full-back back to Brazil.

A CBF brought forward the games of the 32nd and 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship, which were scheduled to start on the 6th and 13th of November, respectively. The reason is to avoid competition matches during the Fifa Date in November. The Brazilian team< /a>, for example, plays on the 14th, against Venezuela.

The games of The 32nd round will be held between November 2nd and 6th. Among the main games, the classic between Corinthians and Palmeiras will be played on Monday (4). The 33rd round games will be played on November 8th and 9th. The only momentary exception is the clash between Flamengo and Atlético-MG, which is still scheduled for the 13th — the two teams will face each other on the 10th, in the second leg of the Copa do Brasil final.

An "escape" date for Flamengo x Atlético-MG could be November 27th. However, it may no longer be the solution if Galo reaches the Libertadores final, as the continental final will be held on the 30th, in Argentina. The 33rd round was scheduled to take place together with Data FIFA because of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul at the beginning of the year. The CBF, however, had already agreed with the clubs that it would remove possible games from the period in which the teams will be playing.
