The confrontation in the semifinal stage of the Carioca Under-17 Championship between Flamengo and Vasco ended in turmoil and violence in Gávea, Flamengo's headquarters. To advance to the final, the home team needed to win by a difference of four goals, but only managed a score of 4 to 1.

Surprisingly, Cruz- Maltino secured their place by winning 5-1 in the first game.
In the 51st minute of the second half, Flamengo scored their fourth goal in the match and the players quickly tried to recover the ball from the goal defended by Gabriel Roberto. Vasco's goalkeeper, however, prevented the game from immediately resuming, thus triggering widespread confusion.

In addition to the players on the field, reserves from both teams invaded the Gávea field during the confusion, leading to a scene of commotion. Private security guards were called in to contain the situation.

The match was temporarily interrupted, as Vasco's players and coaching staff refused to continue due to the chaos, heading to the dressing room.
After approximately 30 minutes, the Cruz-Maltino team returned to the field, beginning the restart of the match.

However, referee Bruno Rezende de Lima ended the game, blowing the whistle, as six minutes of added time had already been granted and Flamengo's goal occurred at 51 minutes, exceeding the stipulated time.
