During the FIFA Data period, when many players are serving their national teams, goalkeeper Filipe Luís, from Flamengo, took advantage of the moment to invest in individual training. The veteran, who is known for his vision of the game and technical ability, focused his efforts on specific activities, with an emphasis on training on a small field and focusing on possession of the ball in midfield. The objective was clear: to improve his performance in the areas where he can be even more decisive for the team, especially with regard to controlling the game and his participation in the defensive sector.
These training sessions, carried out under high intensity and long duration, demonstrate the athlete's commitment to maintaining a high competitive level, even with the pause in official competitions. Filipe Luís, who has already been a fundamental player in several decisive moments for Flamengo, knows the importance of continuing to evolve to remain relevant in the squad. As he grows older, he is also aware that work outside of games, focusing on fundamentals and physical preparation, is essential to prolong his career and continue delivering positive results on the field.
The choice to train on a smaller field has a very clear purpose: to improve ball possession and movement in short spaces, a characteristic that is increasingly valued in modern football. Flamengo, which has a playing style based on dominance and possession control, relies heavily on players who know how to work well in pressure situations, and Filipe Luís, with his international experience, knows the importance of being effective in this regard. Furthermore, possession of the ball in midfield is crucial to breaking down opposing defensive lines, and specific training in this sector can be a differentiator for the left-back.
TRAININGS, ADJUSTMENTS AND GAME MODELS
In the defensive aspect , the player has also invested in work focused on improving his reading of the game and positioning, two crucial factors for a full-back defender looking to prolong his career effectively. Filipe Luís no longer depends so much on speed or physical explosiveness, but rather on his ability to anticipate moves and neutralize opponents' actions through his experience and tactical intelligence. Specific training in the defensive system aims precisely to improve these skills, allowing the player to continue contributing to the solidity of Flamengo's defensive line.
With little space in the professional team, the athlete remains in the base of Mais Querido after a new international investment; Pisa's loan proposal was denied

Flamengo has once again been approached by European clubs interested in one of its most talked-about prospects: midfielder Lorran. According to journalist Venê Casagrande, Pisa, recently promoted to the Italian football elite, made a loan offer for the player, but the terms of the negotiation did not please the red-black board, which chose to reject the proposal.
With the decision, the club kept Lorran in the under-20 squad , where he competes in the Brazilian Championship in the category. Despite being away from the main squad, the youngster continues to stand out with good performances and technical moves in training, which continues to arouse the interest of teams outside the country.
Pisa is experiencing a historic moment after securing promotion to Italy's Serie A for the first time in 34 years. Led by Filippo Inzaghi, the team is looking for reinforcements and identified Lorran as an opportunity for young talent to join the squad. However, despite their rising European profile, the deal was not successful.
Other European clubs, such as Lille from France, are also showing interest in the midfielder. Information from the portal “RTI Esportes” reveals that the French club met with José Boto , an executive with a history in European football, to evaluate the viability of a proposal of €15 million (approximately R$96.7 million).
This is not the first time that Lorran's future has been discussed. Earlier this year, the player was very close to a transfer to CSKA in Russia , but the deal was cancelled in the final moments. The Rio de Janeiro club's board also sought a possible loan transfer to Estoril in Portugal, without success.
Negotiations between the Portuguese club and Mais Querido evolve towards a definitive sale; the proposal pleased the board, and the contract is for a three-year term

Flamengo has taken an important step towards finalizing the permanent transfer of midfielder Victor Hugo, 21 , to Famalicão, in Portugal. The Portuguese club has presented a purchase proposal that was considered satisfactory by the red-black board, which has already authorized the player's representatives to define the contract terms with the Europeans.
The expectation is that the contract with Famalicão will be valid for three seasons . The values involved in the negotiation were not revealed. The information was released by journalist Venê Casagrande.
Victor Hugo recently returned to the club after a loan spell at Goztepe in Turkey. The contract with the Turkish club included a buyout clause set at 8 million euros (approximately R$51 million) , but the European team chose not to exercise the option. Without a place in the squad led by Filipe Luís, the player is not part of the plans for the rest of the season.
Initially, Famalicão discussed the possibility of a new loan , but the talks evolved into a permanent transfer, considered the most advantageous solution by Flamengo 's football department.
During his time at Goztepe, Victor Hugo made 35 appearances, starting 12 of them, and scored three goals. He was involved in the team's eighth-place finish in the national league and also in the team's run to the semi-finals of the Turkish Cup, ending his spell with a stoppage-time goal against Kasimpasa on May 30.
