"Far from the result we wanted", commented the vice president, adding: "we really wanted to continue in this competition, a competition that in the last 4 years we ended in three". Braz explains that the fact that Flamengo has already reached three Libertadores finals in the last 4 years (2019, 2021 and 2022) indicates the quality of the team, but it also does not diminish the importance of the competition.
However, the deputy director raises the hopes of the crowd by recalling the other campaigns that Mengão is still plotting this season: "We have the Brazilian and the Copa do Brasil there, which are important titles". In fact, Mais Querido's next game will be this Sunday (13) for the Brasileirão against São Paulo.
