Flamengo loses to Olimpia in Paraguay and bids farewell to Libertadores de América. In yet another mediocre performance from a bad job by Jorge Sampaoli, Flamengo turns on the alert for the rest of the season.

The Red-Black team had 90 minutes plus added time to put Flamengo in the next phase of Libertadores. However, in a game in which he had the advantage, he saw the vacancy drain in the tears of his fans.
