In a meeting held this Thursday (28), Flamengo's Deliberative Council approved the new master sponsorship of the shirt. The company Pixbet gained a prominent position in the Sacred Mantle after reaching an agreement worth R$170 million, for a two-year contract, until the end of the 2025 season.
The vote was unanimous, with 125 advisors in favor of Pixbet as Flamengo's master sponsor. In this way, the current brand that occupies the prime space on the shirt (on the belly), Banco BRB, will remain on the shoulder blade, for R$6.25 million, for three months. The financial institution had the option of covering the amounts presented by the bookmaker, but did not implement the clause.
Initially, the club receives R$20 million from Pixbet. Afterwards, five more installments of R$30 million will fall into the red-and-black coffers.
ABC da Construção, which features the brand on Flamengo's shorts, increased the values and reached the fourth season of partnership with the club, also this Thursday (28). In this way, it went from R$6.3 million to R$7.1 million. Payment will be made with R$5.2 million in direct funds and another R$1.9 million in exchange.
According to a note published by Flamengo, the company will print the logo on the back of the shorts game and training sessions for the men's, women's and U20 football teams and the basketball team until December 31, 2024. Therefore, it will be part of the investments in marketing with a focus on the national expansion plan.
Now, with the renovations, the Flamengo shirt now has an annual value of R$225 million. The debut of the Manto with the brand relocations is scheduled to take place in January 2024, during the tour to the United States and also at the Campeonato Carioca. The first game in the state takes place on the 17th, against Audax, in Manaus. In North America, Mengão faces Orlando City (USA), in a friendly.
Coach will have to find alternatives amid injuries and departures from the squad to put together the team that will take the field against São Paulo in the Brazilian Championship

Amid a turbulent scenario behind the scenes , Flamengo continues its preparations to face São Paulo , next Saturday (12), for the Brazilian Championship. Even with the pressures and recent changes, coach Filipe Luís remains focused and has three fundamental decisions to make in the coming days.
With Gerson leaving for Zenit (Russia), Filipe Luís needs to find a new name to fill the midfielder's spot , who was an absolute starter. Versatile, Gerson played both as a second midfielder and as a right winger, which increases the complexity of the choice. The red-and-black coach will have to evaluate which tactical profile best fits the team's current situation.
The captain's armband is also vacant. Among the main candidates are Arrascaeta and Bruno Henrique , players with more time at the club and a prominent role in the squad. However, names like Danilo and Rossi, recognized for their leadership on a day-to-day basis, also appear as viable options.
In addition to Gerson, Flamengo also lost Pulgar, who underwent foot surgery and will be out for a few months. For the first midfielder position, Jorginho is the favorite — the player has even said he feels comfortable playing as a "number 5". Other options include Allan, Evertton Araújo and the young Pablo Lúcio, who worked with Filipe Luís in the youth team and could earn a place in the main squad.
Flamengo returns to the field on Saturday (12), at 4:30 pm (Brasília time), against São Paulo, at Maracanã, for the 13th round of the Brasileirão. The match will be broadcast live on Rede Globo (open TV) and Premiere (pay-per-view) . Rubro-Negro leads the competition with 24 points, the same score as Cruzeiro, but with an advantage in goal difference (20 to 9) and with one game less than its rival from Minas Gerais.
