Gabigol's situation in Flamengo continues with no developmentson the contract renewal. The deadline is short, as the contract ends in December this year. Thus, the red-black team decided that it will only release the player in the middle of the year if it receives financial compensation from the interested team.

According to journalist Venê Casagrande, Gabigol will only leave Flamengo in the event of financial proposal for the red-black club. Otherwise, Mengo's new number 99 shirt will remain until the end of the year, when the contract ends and the player can leave free of charge.

NOT RENEWAL

Flamengo does not intend to renew Gabigol's contract. After the controversy surrounding the player wearing the Corinthians shirt, the red-and-black club will not make any effort to extend the athlete's contract. Gabriel has been the target of protests from the fans, who even took a banner to the game against Amazonas: “We are not fans of scoundrels”.

DOWN IN FLAMENGO

NEXT GAME

With Gabigol available, Flamengo focuses in the next appointment of the season. The red-and-black team faces Millonarios (COL) on Tuesday (28), at 9pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã.
